If Future Visions is active and a monster is summoned and removed from play, then the Future Visions is destroyed, does the monster still come back during the next stand-by phase? Thanks. Mastermind6656 00:38, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
- No! It remains removed from play! ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 09:49, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
- Are you sure about this, Atem? If that is the case, then Destiny Hero - Doom Lord should be the same idea, correct? 75.175.27.176 20:58, September 17, 2009 (UTC)Sephilli
- He is correct. "Future Visions" returns the monster to the field by a Trigger-like effect. If "Future Visions" is not on the field, then the effect can neither activate nor resolve, so the monster does not return.
- "Destiny Hero - Doom Lord" is different. Here, returning the monster is a lingering effect that is set when the remove-from-play effect resolves. Returning the monster to the field no longer depends on "Destiny Hero - Doom Lord".

Future Visions and Barbaros
if i normal summon Barbaros, he hits the field with 1900 atk, then future visions activates and sets him out of play, when he returns, does he have the 3000? also, if i tribute 3 monsters, will his effect activate first and clear my opponents field or will future visions activate first and remove him? if so, does he return and then clear the field?
- Barbaros 3 Tribute mode's effect will form a chain with Future Visions (read SEGOC for more info). Both will resolve, you choose the order if you control both Visions and Barbaros.
- If barbaros is removed from the field, when it is returned it's ATK will be 3000 even if you don't use tributes.
