My friend made this deck for me but I have a few questions about it.

One thing I'm wondering is how many Galaxy Tyranno's should I run? The other thing I'm wondering is what can I replace Upstart Goblin with (be it for draw power or just a good card because a: it's an expensive card and I'm a cheap bastard, b: I don't like giving my opponent life points) SwordoftheSpirit (talk SwordoftheSpirit (talkcontribs) 22:35, August 29, 2014 (UTC)

Surprisingly, a lot of people don't like Tyranno (one can see where they're coming from, as it delays your plays.) I assume this is TCG only, ya? (Otherwise I'd suggest adding in Galaxy Solider, of course). Upstart shouldn't be too much of a problem...except you should be using more Expedition and Accellight (although Reinforcement in this case may serve to replace Accellight) rather than Upstart if you have them (I understand if you don't - no-one has goddamn Knight at my local store). In a deck with such high ATK power, extra life isn't usually an issue. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 22:43, August 29, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, if Galaxy Soldier was TCG you can bet your deck I'd buy 3 copies but it isn't yet. So I've taken out one Tyranno because I think it can be useful at one point or another. SwordoftheSpirit (talkcontribs) 23:27, August 29, 2014 (UTC)

But, one other thing remains. How well does this set up look? Does it look good? Are there any cards you would suggest for me? I still refuse to buy Upstart. SwordoftheSpirit (talkcontribs) 07:09, September 1, 2014 (UTC)

Don't worry if you refuse to buy Upstart, I don't like it either. Replace it with more copies of "Galaxy Expedition" and maybe "Accellight," though you have to be careful with that one. Trap-wise, you may want to cut down on battle traps, given the power of the monster lineup you use, and make room for Wiretap and the like. Lizard seems to be more of a preference card, but I personally don't run it as it searches only Crusher and Thrasher (and with 2 ROTA and Accellight, that can get the job done far better. Just be careful of Accellight.) Unless, of course, you're trying to provide constant fodder for Twin Photon Lizard.
Now, I'm not trying to turn your build into mine, just running through what works for me. I use a couple of "Galaxy Mirror Sages," at worst, they search out Wizard (or Dragon in a sided matchup) and at best you can recover an insane amount of life. "Galaxy Zero" can also replace CoTH, as its faster and the restriction will hardly ever matter, seeing as you'll either use the summoned monster as Xyz Material or it'll be Galaxy-Eyes, which can ditch Zero for protection, allowing it to use its effect, and thus restore itself. Try and get hold of "Starliege Paladynamo" if you can, as it's really very handy to have as an option.
As for the setup itself, it definitely covers most of the major bases, especially with the MSTs in there (Which I lack room for, as I have two Rank-Up-Magics in there for Neo Tachyon). Have you tested it much? Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 07:39, September 1, 2014 (UTC)
Yes I have, mostly on Duel Network and I've won most duels I've played with it. I used it (with a few minor changes because I don' have certain cards) at my locals yesterday and I won 1 match against one guy and 1 duel against another guy (freakin' Battlin' Boxers man). It still seems to be pretty solid. SwordoftheSpirit (talkcontribs) 14:37, September 1, 2014 (UTC)
Also, are Kuriphoton and Photon Circle good cards to include? Because in my real deck I have one of each. SwordoftheSpirit (talkcontribs) 05:19, September 2, 2014 (UTC)
Not Circle, no, but Kuriphoton, sure, although it's probably more of a side deck tech against OTK decks. That being said, I do main a Kuriphoton. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 06:54, September 2, 2014 (UTC)
Also, how about Lumenize? Is that a good card to run? SwordoftheSpirit (talkcontribs) 23:43, September 2, 2014 (UTC)
It probably doesn't hurt, but it isn't too necessary, as you can either just dodge attacks or become to strong for them to hit. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 00:47, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
Last two queries (for now) are either Lillybot (card) or Photon Caesar good cards to use? And if so, how many would you suggest? SwordoftheSpirit (talkcontribs) 02:21, September 4, 2014 (UTC)
Photon Caesar isn't bad, but Galaxy Knight outclasses it by far. Lillybot...probably not, except in the Machine Duplication Build. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 04:01, September 4, 2014 (UTC)
