Hi~ If i suicide my geira guile. the cubic emperor, can i activate its 3rd effect(target 2 up to 2 copies of Vijam , the cubic spawn in your graveyard; send this card to the graveyard, and if you do, special summon those targets, then u can add 1 vulcan dragni the cubic emperor from your deck to you hand)

if yes, why if no, why

You can't because if a monster is determined to be destroyed by battle during the damage calculation, you can't remove it from the field in any other way anymore. So you can't send Geira to the Graveyard by its own effect if it suicides, unless an effect prevents it from being destroyed by battle. --XBrain130™「Ｘ（エックス）ブレーン１３０」 12:27, April 29, 2016 (UTC)

More accurately, the effect of "Geira Guile, the Cubic Emperor" can only be activated at the end of the Damage Step. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card battled: You can target up to 2 copies of "Vijam, the Cubic Spawn" in your Graveyard; send this card to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon those targets, then you can add 1 "Vulcan Dragni, the Cubic Emperor" from your Deck to your hand. in this case, what id the activation requirement?went through battle or send this card to the grave?

The activation requirement is that it battled and survived. with VERY limited exceptions a monster that was destroyed in battle cannot fulfill conditions like "tribute this card" or anything like that.

FYI, exceptions are things that destroy cards on end of damage, like Red Dragon Archfiend. If RDA killed a (defense position) monster in battle, his defense nuking effect is what will actually send it to the graveyard (screwing over battle floaters).

hi~A few more questions, sorry~ the " You can target up to 2 copies of "Vijam, the Cubic Spawn" in your Graveyard; send this card to the Graveyard" 1) target and send this card to grave happen at the same time? 2) this effect is activate on field and resolve in grave? 3) what happen is this card is removed from field by other card effect/removed from grave by other card effect/turned face down by other card effect?

1. "You can target ... in your Graveyard" is placed before a semicolon. It is done at the activation.

"send this card to the Graveyard" is placed after the semicolon. It is done when the effect resolves.

2. No. All effect activate and resolve in the same place.

3. If it is not on the field anymore, it cannot send itself to the grave, and its eff cannot resolve properly.

There is no way an effect can be activated after it sends itself to the grave but before the next part of its resolving effect.

It sends itself to grave as normal if it is flipped face-down.
