Forum:Gold Series 3; happy or disapointed?

Gold Series 3 has AMAZING gold rare cards, which is why most people would be happy. With cards like Stardust Dragon, Judgment Dragon, Plaguespreader Zombie, Elemental Hero Prisma, how can anyone NOT love this? Well, the thing is, a couple of cards that are worth some money have been put into the COMMON section of Gold Series 3! Mainly, these cards are Goblin Zombie, Destiny Draw, and Destiny Hero - Malicious.It's like this probably because Konami wants to make more money, and turning 15 - 30 dollar cards sure seems to be working. ANOTHER thing is, well, something that can go two ways: Blackwings. If you WANT to build a Blackwing deck, then for the commons in Gold Series 3, there's about 6 of the Blackwings, and a Black Whirlwind! For the gold rares, there's Blackwing Armor Master, Blackwing Armed Wing, Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind, and Icarus Attack! Now, for somebody that actually worked to make the Blackwing deck they have today, they have to be disapointed, because all that work is most of what Gold Series 3 has. I'm kinda indifferent about Gold Series 3...but leaning more towards being disappointed. I mean I have my own copy of stardust, it'll be great to get another one. Gale would be cool too, but all the other cards don't really suit me much...I mean all I'm looking at in that pack would be the Exploder Dragon, Stardust and Gale. Actually, it goes down. I was just checking the prices on ebay. Gold Stardust is about 15. Plaguespreader is about 10. The Blackwing Synchros went down. I like it cause it'll give me more for my trade binder and since almost every gold rare monster is about 10 dollars, having 8 will pay for the 80-85 dollars it takes to buy a Gold Series box, plus they'll be easy to get. And since and box has 15 gold rares, it won't be that hard. Honestly, and I'll check right now, the only cards that should go up in price are the spell staples and maybe the Icarus Attack.--Yugioh DED 16:46, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah. Although, it miiiiiiiiight not happen; getting the same cards that the OCG will get, only because sometimes in the past Konami has done that. Good news is we've been getting all of the same cards in the Structure Decks that the OCG has been getting lately. Great next year...ahh well. I have a friend with that card and she barely duels, but she refuses to trade me it. oh the horror! T_T Well I wasn't expecting Mirror Force to show up that easily any time but if it does..that'll be sweet

No I understand what FallenSilence is driving at...it's just being over played..over used...it's losing, well for me, losing it's appeal. Every where you turn stardust this, stardust that. Well, it's not like I like the Dragon. Fallensilence, you know I don't like Synchros. It's just that he looks awesome in gold and I'll gladly trade it for like a Prisma or something. And besides, Red Dragon Archfiend sucks XD.....well not really. But the main reason I'm getting Gold Series 3 is for D-Draw, Malicious, Prisma, and anything that looks cool for my trade-show binder. Well, I mean, it's a no-brainer to run something in your deck to get rid of Stardust. There no doubt that almost EVERYONE has a couple of cards that just remove from play or bounce in there decks JUST to get rid of it. My friend and I decided on people, this is gonna say childish, to immolate. He wanted Jack's Stuff as in Red Dragon Archfiend..and I personally liked Stardust alot. Well ever since he got his own copy of stardust that's all he uses. Goodbye Red Dragon Archfiend -_-...sad ahh well. I would also like to see a Red Dragon Archfiend be played once in a while. There's all that good stuff people want, like D-Draw, Prisma, Malicious, Stardust, and Blackwings. I'm kinda dissapointed because JD is in there, but other LS aren't. They should of added other LS monsters, or taken out JD's. Also, whats up with Amazons being thrown in there, I mean they are getting support in the next pack, but why are they even being relesed again in Gold Series 3. • Personally I'm kind of dissapointed 'cuz those freaking gold series 3 look like fake cards, maybe it's just my local store but since the release of Duelist Toolbox they look like crap, don't get me wrong, I'd like to get a Gale and a Stardust gold but if they're gonna keep producing the cards with this quality....... Well there's a lot more good cards that are normally dificult to get hoold of, which are now at peoples finger tips for the moderatley small price you have to pay for the value of card's you are going to get. I'm all for the Infernity Avenger as i don't want to spend twenty pound on the game to get it, but it means that decks are going to have a lot more of these powerful cards with a much higher chance... also, more golden staples ;/ IonCharge (talk • contribs) 17:38, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
