Hey everyone, this is my second deck posting so bear with me. I'm making a Gravekeeper's deck, which revolves around Necrovalley...duh... anyways, I've added a twist by adding Helpoemer, Ordeal of the Traveler, and Gravekeeper's Servant which all makes it very... unpleasant... for an opponent to attack. anyways, post what you think, rate, and give tips! Oh yeah, a major problem with this deck is hand advantage, so if anyone has any ideas to fix that... --Tantara 02:24, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

The only Draw card I know of that works well with Gravekeeper's is Allure of Darkness.Skavinger 02:52, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Replace the Owl of Lucks with Terraformings. SuperTeddy 05:56, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Well i use a gravekeepers deck to and i think you have to many cards to search out and protect necrovalley so i would remove 2x an owl of luck from your deck. I'm not realy a big fan of gravekeepers servant either so i would remove it 2x remove one magic jammer and remove one rite of spirit and then ad 2 bottomless trap holes and 2 sakuretsu armor's. If you want to ad extra drawing power ad cards like hand destruction and pot of averice.

  • Now I see the effect of Gravekeeper's Commandant, forget what I said. Remove all Trap/Magic Jammers, and Field Barrier too. Add cards Monster Reborn, Premature Burial, etc. SuperTeddy 07:45, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Hey Romanovajax, the whole point of this deck is to get out Necrovalley right? That's why I have all of the search cards. well, Gravekeeper's commandent can be used for beatdown too... and the the point of the Magic Jammers, is to prevent heavy storms... Monster Reborn and Premature burial only work if I have Gravekeeper's Chief out... so.... Rite of Spirit allows me to special summon a gravekeeper monster from my graveyard, I'll use these to replace Monster Reborn and Premature Burial. ohh... and does dust tornado negate the activation of a spell or trap card? --Tantara 12:37, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

i know the point of the deck is getting necrovalley on the field but i think your kind of overdoing it. If you have to many cards to search out necrovalley your deck may not have enough other strategys becuase alot of times it's not enough to just have necrovalley on the field. A few strong traps and spells like sakuretsu armor and smashing ground are always usefull so try putting some in.

  • okay... here's this fix... only changed when I realized that 1/5 cards in my deck was a necrovalley searcher = ). --Tantara 22:42, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps a Magicians Unite would work in your deck, since the Gravekeeper's monsters are Spellcasters (mostly). Bluedog187 22:45, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

  • fixed deck again, need help thinning out the deck. --Tantara 01:36, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

-2 gravekeepers servant -1 rite of spirit -1 ordeal of the traveler -1 royal tribute

Romanovajax 08:21, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

  • RIte of the Spirit is staying... removing 1 Ordeal of the Traveler and 1 royal tribute. going to add 1 pot of avarice... --Tantara 13:03, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Dust Tornado doesn't negate Spells and Traps. Remove Magic Jammer and Trap Jammer, they are really weak. SuperTeddy 14:49, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
  • well, what other cards negate spell and trap besides the jammers? --Tantara 15:53, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Dark Bribe negates both spells and traps, though your opponent is allowed to draw 1 card. But at least it doesn't take a toll on your hand. Solemn Judgment is also good, since it can negate both spells, traps, and summons. But it costs you half your lifepoints. Take the counter card you feel is best for your strategy. --Baccus78 16:17, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
  • for budget purposes... no --75.74.242.34 18:49, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
  • In that case, maybe Dark Illusion could work (I don't remember if they're DARK monsters, correct me if I'm wrong). I found another card that could help your deck however; Magician's Circle. It can easily search out nearly every Gravekeeper, since they don't have many atk points, and it will rarely benefit your opponent. Hope that helps. --Baccus78 19:11, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
  • What should I rake out for Magician's Circle? --Tantara 21:43, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

A Terraforming and a Field Barrier, or 2 Field Barrier. SuperTeddy 07:44, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

  • fixed again... --Tantara 14:06, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Add a Gravekeeper's Commandant and remove 1 Terraforming. To cut down the deck size, remove the Dark Illusions, and maybe 1 Rite of Spirit. SuperTeddy 17:24, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Switched traded a terraforming for commandant, Dark Ilusions and Rite of Spirit stay... anything else? --Tantara 17:58, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Dark Illusion is not needed, and 2 Rite of Spirits are enough. Pot of Avarice is a bad idea too. SuperTeddy 08:22, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

I'll switch a dark illusion with a mystical space typhoon, and I already have 3 rite of the spirit so... what do you recommend I replace pot of avarice with? --Tantara 15:16, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Lightning Vortex, Brain Control, Smashing Ground, Swords of Revealing Light, etc. SuperTeddy 15:23, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Lightning Vortex, Plausible... Brain Control, doesn't fit the deck... Smashing Ground, doesn't fissure do the same thing? ... Swords of Revealing Light, Gravekeeper's swarm... What do you think of Magic reflector? --Tantara 19:18, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Yes to Lightning Vortex and Brain Control. Yes to Smashing Ground over Fissure. No to Magic Reflector and Swords of Revealing Light. Chris427 00:51, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Ok, replacing magic reflectors with Lighting Vortex and Brain Control (I disagree, primary purpose of card usually is to tribute the controlled card... I don't have THAT many tributes...). I already have fissure so...? --Tantara 01:29, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Brain Control clears a monster from your way. That's more than good. Chris427 02:08, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
  • ok, but what about fissure? --Tantara 13:09, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

4

Take out a necrovalley replace it with the spellcard book of moon, and replace helpomer with a Dmoc or Jinzo.

  • No! Necrovalley is THE most important card, for budget purposes, Helpoemer stays... god... book of moon? I've got assailants that do almost the same thing! --Tantara 13:58, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Remove a Gravekeeper's Servant and a Rite of Spirit to make the deck 40 cards. SuperTeddy 06:02, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Removing a Gravekeeper's Servant and a Gravekeeper's Guard. --Tantara 13:47, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Actually, you should max the Guard, so remove the Watcher instead. SuperTeddy 15:17, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Already have Watcher, and Guards suck --Tantara 15:39, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Sending Gladiator Beast Heraklinos back to it's Fusion Deck is pretty cool though. SuperTeddy 15:40, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

...hmm..... anyway, what about fissure? --Tantara 16:25, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Don't use Fissure. SuperTeddy 05:25, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Ok... Is the deck good then? ratings anyone? --Tantara 18:23, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
