Forum:Harpie OCG Deck

The idea of this Deck is to do a massively big Attacks with Hunter Owl and Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon while Harpie Lady 1 can give a attack boost. Another point is about the Magic and Trap destruction, granted by Heavy Storm, Dust Tornado, Mystical Space Typhoon and by a great combos of Harpies' Hunting Ground with the Harpies Ladies (specially Harpie Queen), that is boosted with Elegant Egotist and Flying Kamakiri 1. Those special summons helps for a possible fast combos and moves in the Match. Other cards like: Waboku, Swords of Revealing Light, Icarus Attack and Counter-Traps are focus in the Defense and possible opponent's unexpected movements. Some players say those Counter-Traps can be a possible dead draws. I've been thinking about that idea but I can't play without those conters cards (noob player?). Another Question about this deck is those Elegant Egotist and Harpies' Hunting Ground:I don't know if I change the quantities, I've been think keeping those cards on Main Deck for a probable changes with a Side Deck like: Some cards that boost my special-summons(Swallow's Nest, Sangan...), some cards against Remove-from-play combos(Return from the Different Dimension, D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation...) and others cards that can help deck to be more flexible on OCG environments. More monsters less traps. I say around 19-22 monsters are needed. User:Taylor ace

I believe that you have not enough monsters ... Add Harpies Brother (1800 ATT not bad) and other wind monsters like Birdface (effect take one harpie lady from your deck to your hand) Storming Wynn for(any tribute you can special summon whatever monster WIND you want) and Garuda the wind Spirit... etc

Try adding a Strong Wind Dragon a Twin-Headed Behemoth maybe 2 copys of An Owl of Luck or 2 Birdface's and at a push a Guardian Eatos. User:Taylor ace

An owl of luck is unneeded if you're running 3 Hunting Ground and 3 Harpie Queen, in fact, it's altogether too slow. I would suggest Summoner Monk and Sangan to search your harpies out. Raiza the Storm Monarch works well also, and has a good effect. Thorn of RosenYubel 07:14, June 3, 2010 (UTC)
