Forum:Help with good deck

Hi I'm still looking for a good deck. I used to really like my naturias, but they keep losing. I want something with a good strategy, few flaws that cannot be covered and still some brute force. Recently my friend has been beating me with his machinas with a combo that can summon fortress on the second turn, it's really annoying because my naturias are weak atk/def.I've tried a destiny board so I was wondering if it could make a comeback.I'm also interested in meklords . Finally, i want the deck to be able to compete with the popular ones today and exeed, the new style of gameplay. Thanks so much for helping!

Naturia is consistent but not fast. Bamboo Shoot tends to die a lot in the current Meta.
Machina is pretty effective. Unless you're using Machina Soldier, who is totally unnecessary since you can discard Fortress as the cost for its own Summon.
"Destiny Board" is possibly the worst Deck in the game. :(
Meklord Emperors are splashable, but the rest of the cards are lackluster.
Most Decks use both Synchro and Xyz Monsters.

If you want a cheap Meta Deck, try Karakuri.

Machina Fortress doesn't cover the whole cost. Soldier isn't all that bad because you don't have to take the -1. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 16:38, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

I would rather run Machina Force / Cannon and get the Fortress from my Graveyard than from my hand. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 17:54, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

Just pointing it out, I wholly agree. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 20:06, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

The Master Strategy

This strategy will beat your opponent in 1 turn even if your opponent has 100,000 life points

Cannon Soldier is a monster that allows you to Tribute one monster you control to inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent. Meanwhile, Sandmoth is a monster with 1000 ATK and 2000 DEF. When it is destroyed in face-down Defense Position (except as a result of battle), Sandmoth comes back to your side of the field with its ATK and DEF swapped. So, use Cannon Soldier's effect on Sandmoth (Sandmoth must be in face-down Defense Position). Your opponent loses 500 life points. Now, you can Special Summon Sandmoth to your side of the field in face-down Defense Position. Tribute Sandmoth with Cannon Soldier's effect again. Sandmoth will come back to the field (preferably in face-down Defense Position). The cycle continues until your opponent has no more life points. This strategy is fullproof. One problem with your "fullproof" strategy: Tribute is not the same thing as destroy, so Sand Moth will not revive itself. Nor can you Special Summon in face-down defense position unless explicitly stated by the card in question. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 03:47, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, not to mention a Special Summon needs to either be in face-up ATK or face-up DEF position. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:33, November 30, 2011 (UTC)
