just because i couldn't find anywhere , and just to make it clear:

also , another question, unrelated:

* You can remove "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" because the effect of "Dragon's Mirror" that remove monsters from play are Costs and cards that Unaffected by Spell Cards can still be used to pay costs.

There are no 'Fusion' cards that remove monsters as cost. There are no 'Fusion' cards that send to the graveyard as cost. Horus can't be used if it is on the field, as it is unaffected by the effect that would send it to the graveyard/remove it. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 06:20, November 30, 2010 (UTC)

Stardust Dragon negates activations not only effects. Also if a card negates only the effect of the Spell Card, but not the activation, then Magical Citadel of Endymion will gain a counter. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 10:52, November 30, 2010 (UTC)

you should be able to use dragon's mirror with horus because its the same concept as when using level up. Its a cost not an effect. — This unsigned comment was made by Mss0290 (talkcontribs)

Need I repeat this? There are no 'Fusion' cards that remove monsters as cost. There are no 'Fusion' cards that send to the graveyard as cost. It is ALL part of the Effect. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 21:50, November 30, 2010 (UTC)

i see , that's why if you have more than five materials , D.D. Crow is useless agaisnt Dragon's Mirror...

and on the other question, what cards negate the effect of magic cards? (but still leaves the effect of Endymion active)--190.191.177.10 (talk) 03:00, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

er... there aren't that many... Imperial Order, Silent Swordsman LV7... but those would also stop Endymion.
Cards that are like Rod of Silence - Kay'est and Ryu Senshi perhaps. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 06:17, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

The first answer was right. But your wording was wrong. Stardust Dragon's effect negates the activation of the card, not the effect, therefore it was as if it was never played. That's why you don't get the counter, if the effect was negated, then it would still get the counter. As long as the card is activated, it would still get the counter. The activation of the card and the effect of a card are two different things. — This unsigned comment was made by 75.87.169.98 (talkcontribs)

Both answerers said that... -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 23:54, December 1, 2010 (UTC)
