Ok so the rulings page is a little ambiguous- Hundred-Eyes Dragon gains the name of the removed monster until the end phase, but does the effect of the removed monster stay as long as Hundred-Eyes Dragon is face-up on the field? NOT FrogtheJam (talk • contribs) 12:58, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

I'm still a little confused because the text makes it look like the effect is permanently gained whereas the name specifically goes away in the end phase NOT FrogtheJam (talk • contribs) 13:11, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

It didn't say Effect went permanent... Otherwise, it should say like this; "This card gain name till End Phase, and gained it effect till this card removed from the field." So no, it don't. Well, you could have saved yourself the trouble and checked the Card Rulings:Hundred-Eyes Dragon page.

"If "Hundred-Eyes Dragon" gains the effect of "Relinquished" and then equips itself with a monster, then during the End Phase when "Hundred-Eyes Dragon" loses the effect of "Relinquished" the monster equipped to "Hundred-Eyes Dragon" can no longer be equipped, so the monster equipped to "Hundred-Eyes Dragon" is destroyed."-- HHTurtle ^Talk   14:09, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

You mean this: "For the effect of a monster like "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther" or "Phantom of Chaos" or "Hundred-Eyes Dragon" or "Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste", you choose the time during the End Phase that you stop applying the effect. The effect does not last until the end of the turn."

I think that this is pretty self-explanatory. You choose when it will end during the End Phase but the effect still ends.-- HHTurtle ^Talk   15:55, November 4, 2010 (UTC)
