If my opponent attacks a set Hyper Hammerhead with a Chainsaw Insect do I still get to draw a card? RanodmKaos 15:54, January 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, you still draw. "Chainsaw Insect" does not need to remain on the field for its effect to resolve.
- The effects both activate at the same time, so they form a Chain according to SEGOC. "Chainsaw Insect" is Chain Link 1, and "Hyper Hammerhead" as Chain Link 2. Resolving backwards, "Hyper Hammerhead" returns "Chainsaw Insect" to the top of the Deck, and then "Chainsaw Insect" resolves and you draw a card.
