Seriously, I can't believe how awesome the Infernity archetype is becoming. they are pretty awesome without their effects, but then you pull out a Handless Fake and you can kick some serious ass along with Fine and the other cool stuff the utilize. and they're New Synchro coming out in The Shining Darkness is gonna be sooo badass! does anyone else besides me think that they might become meta?Goblinpunch! 22:38, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Infernity...anything

I agree! I loved the Infernity archtype from the moment it was unveiled! I actually just posted (part of) my Infernity Deck! I need a little bit of help on it, but I probably might have to wait until TSHD comes out.

Infernities are amazing, all right. I use this deck:

It can and will one-turn-kill you. As soon as I get no cards in my hand, there's a loop that can pull out multiple level 9 synchros. Runer5h 23:39, January 14, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

Note: Runer, you dropped Mist Wurm to 1? I thought your OTK utilized double Mist Wurm...

Also, yes, Infernties are amazing. I wanted to run them even when there were only three cards of the archetype, and now I run a deck similar to Runer's. (I use Revenger instead of Beetle)--Akiza Izayoi 00:26, January 15, 2010 (UTC)

I wish Infernity Destroyer was relieced in the TCG too. Without him they can be easly overpowered unless you get the Infernity Doom Dragon --RyuPhalian 00:47, January 15, 2010 (UTC)

I haven't found Destroyer to be that necessary. In my deck it's good for level 8 synchro summons with Beetle, and can be part of the OTK if I feel like it. But it doesn't really need to be - god knows that with the swarm power of Infernities (Infernity Gun, Infernity Necromancer, Infernity Mirage, Infernity Archfiend, Infernity Beetle) they can summon tuners for synchros easily enough. Plus, I prefer going level 9 because of Mist Wurm (field clear, baby!) and Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier (field clear, takes care of a Necro Gardna, and can stop Tragoedia/Gorz/Battlefader/Ogre of the Scarlet Sorrow/Blackwing Ghibli). I use Synchros as more of a backup plan, focusing a lot on Death Dragon, since he can be brought back as easily as a single Mirage or Necromancer. Revenger really allows a lot of control, but I'm debating on going with Beetle. How often do you get Beetle out, and use his effect? I'm worried that I'll have one on field and one in hand, while unable to use any of them.--Akiza Izayoi 02:48, January 15, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, once per game for effect, and a single copy usually gets summoned three times in the same game-ending turn. Synchros are my main win condition (Mist Wurm ftw!). I use this combo:

  • Activate Infernity Gun/summon Infernity Mirage.
  • Use Gun's effect to special summon one Infernity Beetle and one Infernity Necromancer from the graveyard.
  • Use Necromancer's effect, SS Infernity Archfiend.
  • Use Archfiend's effect, search Infernity Gun.
  • Synchro, rinse, repeat.

I can do that combo 3 times (3 Guns). If I'm feeling cheeky I might just summon AOJ - Decisive Arms for fun as the last monster. Runer5h 04:24, January 15, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

I like em', and if they make Infernity Death Gunman, i'll use em' to. That was a awesome card/episode. I don't want to see it raped by the FCC and 4kids.--Helix-king 04:55, January 15, 2010 (UTC)

Well, with this deck list, I believe you should switch some of your spell cards for Infernity support trap cards. It's just I don't see many of these cards draining your hand fast. Many of their newer traps drain your entire hand and have a wicked effect. --RyuPhalian 19:37, January 16, 2010 (UTC)

Add some traps that deplete your hand, such as "curse of ageing," "full salvo," and "raigeki break."

Eh. I prefer to use Dark Grepher and the setting of spells/traps to empty my hand. It works. Handless Fake doesn't seem like a good idea to me, since I'd rather discard my hand... and Full Salvo doesn't always allow me to get the necessary cards into the graveyard. It's just that they have so many great cards for support like Infernity Reflector, Infernity Force, Full Salvo, and Zero - Max. All of which can easly discard your entire hand so you can activate the effects of your Infernity cards.--RyuPhalian 22:09, January 16, 2010 (UTC)
Zero Max and Infernity Force don't discard your hand. Furthermore, if you just jump straight into an empty hand, you can get very bad topdecks. I've tried to make a deck with no really bad topdecks, and it works well enough for me. Runer5h 22:47, January 16, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h
Your call man. But atleast try a few counter traps like Dark Bribe, those can come in handy,--RyuPhalian 22:54, January 16, 2010 (UTC)
