So, I just started collecting and playing the game like two weeks ago. I was wondering if the deck I have is really any good before I get into some serious dueling. Please let me know.

It's fine
Your deck is not very powerful, but it could probably hold its own in a casual duel. It's suitable for someone relatively new like you. You could experiment with using some tuners/synchros though if you wanted, as synchros will be very important if you decide to play more competitively. Looking at you cards it looks like you got the Marik Ishtar starter deck, If thats the case then you have a good starting point. If not then you might want to look at finding a starter deck that match's your play style. At the minet your deck has too many traps in my opinion. Post a list of what Archetype of cards you own and we might be able to get you off to a better start.
Booster Suggestions?
There are only a couple of cards from the Marik Structure Deck in there. I really like dragons and the Red-Eyes B. Dragon is my favorite from the anime. What booster packs should I get in order to strengthen this deck? Well, if you want more dragons, and if you want to focus on more Gravekeeper's, the Absolute Powerforce Booster Pack could land you some more of them.I'd get the A.P. Special Edition=it's 3 packs, plus one of 2 promo cards; one of them is Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, a good fit for the deck.B. MasterFlash (talk • contribs) 17:32, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
It's a bit unbalanced, I'd either add more monsters, or else take out some magic and trap. Also, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is a must have staple of any Red-Eyes deck, or any dragon deck in general, really. Some other invaluable cards for dragon decks are White-Horned Dragon, Paladin of White Dragon and Lord of D..
