Hello. I'd like to ask a question about the equip spell Amulet of Ambition . The effect which returns it to the deck is OPTIONAL, Therefor it can miss the timing, right? Second question: if i tribute the equipped monster or use it as xyz material, i cannot return amulet of ambition to the deck because it will miss the timing, correct? Thank you very much. "When...you can..." is indeed optional effect, it is also triggering so it activate as soon as it is sending to the Graveyard. So yes, you can missing the timing.
Just similar to all other Equip/Union cards, I think so - many of the times they do missing the timing, like "Machina Peacekeeper", it will missing the timing if the target monster leaving the field for other reason, like Xyz Summon or used as Tribute Fodder, as well as Synchro Summon. --iFredCat 11:54, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
Almost right. The reason is that the effect says "When... you can..."
The all three words are important. There are optional effects that do not miss the timing.
Yes, just like every other "When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can" effect. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:54, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
Well, "Amulet of Ambition" don't say "After..." like the one that are listed in the article you gave out; so in my book, it's missed the timing. If you disagreed, just speak what on your thought, I am willing to "listening [sic]". --iFredCat 12:02, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
The indentation shows that my comment was a response to Imadmagician, not you. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:04, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
Ah alright, sound like you were sorta agreeing to my comment for some reasons :(. --iFredCat 12:17, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
