I dont know if this is the right place to put this but i was wondering if anyone has any good stories of when there luck gave up on them at a crucial moment. the reason i ask this is because during my last tournament after the sneak peak sealed i busted out my GB deck and was mopping the floor with everyone. during the five rounds, i played against a jurak beatdown, dandywarrior, malific drain, naturia lock, and six sams. my last match was against six sams 1st round i lost bc of a late game legendary shien, second round i wasn't touched, and during the third round my luck gave on me because i opened with 5 creatures and no protection. i say this is bad luck because i had power shuffled and my opponent shuffle/cut my deck and on top of that my deck only runs 12 creatures. so again anything like this happen to you. and if your wondering that one loss sent me from 1st to 3rd. 69.171.160.72 (talk) 19:37, May 1, 2011 (UTC)

I think this is the right place for you to talk about this. Here's my story:

Before I was the AnnoyingMacroPrick, I was Terrorking Sam-on (a play on words with Terrorking Salmon since my name is Sam). I played a Red-Eyes B. Dragon deck utilizing Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon. I was in a 3v3 match with a couple of friends from the local tournament. I was the only one left in my team and I was barely hanging on with 1200 LP, no monsters, and only a Scrap-Iron Scarecrow to protect me. I was facing two menacing opponents. One of them ran a Destiny Hero deck and the other person used an Elemental Hero deck. My D-Hero friend was almost dead him with exactly 1900 LP and no monsters and my E-Hero friend hadn't even been touched with Elemental Hero Bladedge that was powered up like crazy with equip spells. I was lucky enough to survive this far by myself. I looked into my hand and noticed a Judgment of Anubis. I went ahead and set that and a Red-Eyes B. Chick. I had a card in my hand (Inferno Fire Blast) so I would use it if something happened. My D-Hero friend pulled off a nice combo to bring out his Destiny Hero - Plasma, absorbed my monster, and then decided to use Heavy Storm to destroy my Scarecrow. Well I flipped up that Judgment of Anubis and that really got everyone off their toes. I blew up his Plasma and that was the end of him for sure. Unfortunately, I could not make a miracle against my E-Hero friend and I got demolished by Bladedge. That taught me something that day. It was the first time in a while that I experienced something of a miracle. It kept me going and wanting to play more!

Now I am the AnnoyingMacroPrick and I'll try to kick you butt any time, any place!

Entered a small tournament with my Chain Strike OTK just to catch practically everyone off-guard. It was a great success within the preliminaries - most of the Gadget Decks I faced were really weak to it and were torn apart in a matter of seconds (e.g. a Gadget slamming headfirst into a set Des Koala on the first turn did wonders), and I made it to the quarterfinals, much to the annoyance of said players. Then my luck began running out as I got horrible openers. Also faced a close friend who was also in the tournament - he knew my Deck inside out and prepared accordingly. Oh well, at least the Deck was effective while it lasted. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 15:02, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

Recently, I was running an incomplete GB deck (didn't have all the cards, put in some fillers) and won my first two matches. The first match was against Fortune Ladies which was pretty easy. My next match was against Watt Lockdown. I got lucky because my opponent hand horrible hands. I won 2-1. My third match was against Naturia Lock, which I was creamed. My last match was against Six Samurai. My opponent was struggling against my Ancient Forest but recovered, then I activated Xing Zhen Hu Replica on one of his two face down cards. Turned out it was Trap Jammer, the other card was Mirror Force, which he used to get advantage. Finished 2-2. Elite Wolf (talkcontribs) 02:25, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
