I was wondering which effect activates first?

Koa'kis destroy themselves during the end phase if you don't send Iron Core or reveal the required card.

And Return brings them back from the rfg pile and removes them from play during the end phase..

So which one activates first?

Actually, you control both the effect of "Return from the Different Dimension" and the "Koa'ki Meiru" monsters, so you choose which you apply first. You can first apply the maintenance cost of the "Koa'ki Meiru" monsters and destroyed them; or, you can first apply the lingering effect of "Return from the Different Dimension" and remove from play the monsters. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 19:35, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Really? I play OCG and the Lingering Effect of Return from the Different Dimension resolves as soon as you enter the End Phase. You don't even have the chance to pay for the Maintenance Cost.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 01:25, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

It should apply in both _CGs, at least, last I checked. I know that for "Forbidden Chalice"', you choose at what time during the End Phase that the effect stops applying.

Did you get that off a video game? I remember hearing that the game doesn't allow you to control the order of effects like that. Like, it doesn't allow you to choose the order the "Gladiator Beasts" tag out, or the order of effects in a SEGOC Chain. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 02:43, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

I heard that you that the Maintenance Cost is paid at the end of the End Phase. However, I do agree that we should extrapolate from the rulings of Forbidden Chalice.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 02:48, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
