i am confused i thought that light and darkness dragon's effect activates when it is destroyed and sent to the graveyard. I thought if Stardust dragon could not destroy the card it could not negate the effect because LADD would be in the graveyard. Is LADD still on the field when its effect activates? The "When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, select 1 monster in your Graveyard. Then destroy all cards you control, and Special Summon that monster." effect of LaDD activates in the Graveyard.-- HHTurtle (Talk) 02:10, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
so doesn't that mean that stardust can not negate it because it can not destroy the card?the ruling was if stardust cannot destroy the card than it could not negate its effect.

Stardust Dragon negates destruction effects, destroying the card that caused it is a bonus and not necessary. However for Starlight Road, it is the same, destruction is a bonus but it must destroy the card to be able to special summon Stardust Dragon.-- HHTurtle (Talk) 02:16, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
ohhh i must have got my rulings confused thanks... so stardust can negate continouss spell and trap cards when they activate if they destroy something correct?
