Please rate & improve my Legendary Ocean beatdown deck. Goal: To get as many monsters on the field in the least amount of time. How to achieve: Legendary ocean, big wave small wave, stall with Gravity Bind. In Case of Emergency: Special summon fenrir, use big wave small wave to special summon Neo Daedelus. Use Legendary Ocean to wipe the field.

I changed 1 mermaid knight for 1800 atk 4 stars water monster and the metalsilver armor for an extra axe of despair.

Their need to be some big changes in your deck. first of all you only have 39 cards. you put some spells and traps in it that are useless I would recommend to drop most of your equips

- Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce - Black Pendant - Legendary Fisherman - Catapult Turtle - Trap jammer - Spell Shield Type-8 - mirror wall - 2 fenrir

+ mirror force + 2 Dark bribe + 2 orca mega-fortress of darkness + 3 warrior of atlantis + 2 aqua spirit (better then fenrir)

This is just a rough sketch of would should happen.

Thanks to the tips in the message of Chris427, I changed my deck alot. I still have Neo-Daedelus since I can't find my copy of Levia Dragon Daedelas.. :/ Anyway, would Obnoxious Celtic Guard be useful for this deck?

I also had a question, can I destroy my continious spell/trap cards any time I want? Or do I have to use something like Mystical Space Typhoon? And if a card needs me to pay life points to stay effective, can I simply not choose to and destroy the card?

Hi there. I run a Water Deck/A Legendary Ocean Deck like you do. As of now your deck has much to improve.

Number 1: Lets take out the unnecessary cards in your deck. Right now your deck is named a beatdown for the reason that you will be able to summon 5-star monsters when A Legendary Ocean is in play. Well, you will need to focus on that--not random cards. Take out the following:

• -1 Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Deadalus: I just want to say ... you don't have a Levia-Dragon - Daedalus. Apparently if you don't have Levia, you can't summon the Ocean Dragon Lord. So I don't really know why it's here.
• -1 Mother Grizzly: Your deck doesn't have many monsters below 1400 attack. And anyway, you won't really need them either.
• -1 Seven Colored Fish: It's not very good unless you're running a Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth deck. Useless for you.
• -1 The Legendary Fisherman: It says it can't be affected by spells. Your Umi is a spell. Best not use him.
• -1 Giga Gagagigo: Keep it at Gagagigo. Don't use the more intimidating one. He's wasteful and ugly too.
• -1 Amphibious Bugroth MK-3: Don't rely on these too much unless you're running a water deck that focuses on this and Submarineroid.
• -2 Fenrir: They're not as good as Aqua Spirits.
• -1 Mirror Wall: Don't use this card. Other stall cards are much more effective.
• -1 Windstorm of Etaqua: You have Aqua Spirits to do this card's job. Don't waste space with this card and prioritize something else.
• -1 Trap Jammer: You have better cards than this. I'll get to it.
• -1 Black Pendant: Not helping your deck. Sure it may do direct damage, but it's only 500 and you should prioritize support for your quick-summon 5-star monsters.
• -1 Metalsilver Armor: Not relevant at all.
• -1 Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce: This is up to you, but personally I think its not so important.

Number 2: Necessities. Now lets cover what you actually need in this deck. When we first started out, you had 39 cards posted. After my removal suggestions, you now are down to 28 cards.

• +3 Warrior of Atlantis: You will need these monsters to search your A Legendary Ocean from your deck. When it's on the field already, you can summon this and can provide you a 1900 ATK monster, serving as a nice beatstick.
• +2 Penguin Soldier: Since your deck runs beatdown, you will need extra provision on removing monsters for you to attack directly easily. Add Penguin Soldiers to do just that.
• +1 Gagagigo: You only have 2 Gagagigos in your deck. Screw that, you need 3.
• +2 Aqua Spirit: They help in tight situations and are more effective than Fenrir.
• +1 Mirror Force: Beatdown decks just need this card.
• +1 Terraforming: Search those A Legendary Ocean field cards!
• +1 Premature Burial: A no-brainer must-need card.
• +1 Giant Trunade: For extra safety when attacking for the game.
• +3 Dark Bribe: For negation. You will definitely need negation.

Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedelus doesn't require Ocean Lord Daedelus, it doesn't say anthing about it on the card so I'll keep that one.
