can i use counter trap cards, like divene wrath or dark brive insted use the effect of LDD?

That's wrong, the negating effect is Speed Spell 2, so it cannot negate Counter Trap Cards which are Spell Speed 3. Falzar FZ 23:34, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Um, he's asking "instead of".
- Counter Trap Cards must be Chained directly to the card which is being negated. If you want a Counter Trap to negate an effect on Chain Link 1, then the Counter Trap has to be activated as Chain Link 2.
- "Light and Darkness Dragon"'s effect is mandatory. After a Spell Card is activated, the effect of "Light and Darkness Dragon" activates automatically. You can't activate a Counter Trap to negate the Spell Card, since the Counter Trap can't be Chained directly to the Spell Card: "Light and Darkness Dragon" is in between.
