Forum:Lord British Spacefighter Q

If my opponent has 4 monsters on the field with lower atk/def than a Lord British I control and I attack and destroy one then choose to attack one again in a row and destroy that second monster, am I allowed to attack the third monster and so forth with the same Lord British card or is Lord British limited to only being able to attack 2 times per battle phase by his own effect?

That is not possible. Like "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" or "Ruin, Queen of Oblivion", "Lord British" gets (at most) one extra attack per turn.

"Lord British" can only attack once more. After the second attack, "Lord British" has already attacked once more, so it cannot attack again. You have to choose one of the other effects.

I would assume that I can SS a token or destroy a set card on the destruction of the second monster then. Also does that only once apply to the other effects such as Special summoning the token?

Say Lord British was affected by a card such as miracle Locus and destroyed 2 monsters on the field could I Special summon 2 tokens under those conditions? Under those same conditions would I be able to destroy 2 set cards on the field total as It has destroyed 2 monsters by battle?

Also if affected by miricle locus could Lord British attack a third time?

To anonymous: right, that is possible.

To Clouddude345: The "once" part is only mention in the first bullet. The effects on the other two bullets can be activated multiple times during the same turn. If "Lord British" is affected by "Miracle Locus", then it can Special Summon two Tokens.

The effects of both "Lord British" and "Miracle Locus" which grant extra attacks do the same thing, so they overlap. "Lord British" would only have two attacks per turn.

Deus, I would like to challenge that ruling. I don't understand how i could not attack again when there is no ruling that states the first effect can not be activated a third or fourth time. Now I understand that cards cant attack more than twice under most circumstance but this card effect states it can attack ONCE again in a row...that's the cards effect, and I run the Gradius cards. There effects are mandatory. Im not saying you are wrong just not understanding.

Here is a ruling:

Ｑ：１つ目の効果による２度目の攻撃時に、２つ目あるいは３つ目の効果を発動できますか？

Ａ：できます。なお、この時１つ目の効果はもう使えません。(09/07/18)

Translation:

Q: When this card attacks a second time using its first effect, can its second or third effect be activated?

A: It is possible. Furthermore, this time you cannot activate the first effect again.(09/07/18)

Lord British Space Fighter's first effect reads that it can only be activated once. Since it has been activated once, it cannot be activated again.
