So, Lycanthrope's effect states "This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card 'Synthesis Spell'. Does that mean that I can't use Advanced Ritual Art to Ritual summon Lycanthrope because he can only be Ritual Summoned by his respective ritual card? Someone on Dueling Network pointed that out while I was using a deck focused on Lycanthrope, and was wondering the rules on it. I'm not too experienced with ritual monsters.

No, you can use Advanced Ritual Art.
EVERY Ritual States that rule
Don't take "Some guy from DN" too seriously, more often then not they don't know what they are talking about

True, I guess I shouldn't taken his advice without sufficient research. Thanks for letting me know. GOLLUM! GOLLUM! Archer231 (talkcontribs) 03:29, October 3, 2015 (UTC)

Just a minor thing, but not all rituals state that rule. Some rituals state You can ritual summon this card with this ritual spell card, (Black Luster Soldier), some state you can only ritual summon it with a specific card (Cú Chulainn the Awakened). But all those statements are just convenient statements to guide you to the proper ritual spell, not actually binding effects (I think, correct me if I am wrong). You are "Correct" but it make no difference as the text amounts to the same thing
Unless the ritual Monster says so, ARA can be substituted for ANY ritual....and I don't think there is a Ritual monster that MUST be summoned using ONLY its specific spell and nothing else.
