Forum:Maiden with eyes of blue Effect question

So maiden with eyes of blue has the following effect: "When this card is targeted for an attack: You can negate the attack, and if you do, change the battle position of this card, then you can Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets this face-up card: You can Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. You can only use 1 "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" effect per turn, and only once that turn."

It's the and only once that turn part that is confusing me. Is that just saying that each maiden is only good for summoning one blue eyes, or is that saying if I have multiple maidens, that after the first effect is used then the others cannot use their effects either?

Hi!

The card's effect means that, if you have multiple Maidens on the field, you can only use the effect from one of them. This means that if your opponent declares an attack to one of your Maidens, and you activate its effect, the other Maidens cannot activate their effect during that turn. Also, if you have multiple Maidens, or if you only have one, it doesn't matter, on the field, and your opponent targets a Maiden for an attack, and you activated its effect, and then your opponent attacks the same Maiden with another monster, it (the Maiden) cannot activate its effect again.

A Maiden or a group of them is only good for bringing 1 (one) Blue-Eyes White Dragon per turn. So it's not good to have more than one on the field at the same time. Todd Marx (talkcontribs) 10:44, June 27, 2017 (UTC)
