Forum:Mataza, Creature Swap, and Spirit Of The Six Samurai

Ok a few questions i need answering:

1. if my opponent has a Mataza and I have a zombie master can I activate creature swap? If I can does my opponent get my monster but since mataza's control cannot switch do I get nothing?

2. Skill Drain - Do you have to pay 1000 once and it will negate all effects or do you have to pay 1000 every turn you want to negate effects?

3. My friend argues that since I used Solemn Judgment on his normal summon he should be able to normal summon again because since the summon was negated he never used his normal summon count for the turn. I believe he is wrong. If he is wrong explain to him why so he stops arguing this.

4. Same friend on this one...I control a Great Shogun Shien and Grandmaster of the Six Samurai and Yaichi...my opponent activates a Brain Control. I use Solemn Judgment. My opponent tries to activate Monster Reborn. I say you cannot do that because you have already activated 1 spell or trap this turn and because of Great Shogun Shien you cannot activate another. He tries saying the same thing as in #3 where since his spell card's activation was negated and destroyed he should be able to activate another one since he claims he didnt successfully activate one this turn. I believe he is wrong again. If he is wrong explain to him why so he stops arguing this.

5. Is Spirit Of The Six Samurai treated as a monster, magic, or trap when it is equipped to a monster. The card text doesn't specify. What happens if Heavy Storm is activated when it is equipped? Does it get destroyed? Can MST destroy it? If it is still a monster can I book of moon it and then what happens since it is in the magic/trap zones?

6. Can I activate Pitch-Black Power Stone during the damage step to put counters on Mythical Beast Cerberus and increase his attack by 1500?

7. Can you "miss the timing" when using a Magic Cylinder?

1) Creature Swap cannot be activated if a player only controls Mataza the Zapper.
2) You pay 1000 LP only when you activate the card.
3) It has been ruled that if a normal summon is negated (Solemn Judgment), the player cannot normal/tribute summon another monster.
4) It isn't the same with the summon-negation. The opponent can still activate another card.
5) A Union monster is treated as an Equip Spell card. It can be destroyed by MST or Heavy Storm.
6) No you cannot. Pitch-Black Power Stone doesn't alters with a monster's ATK by itself.
7) Missing the Timing may happen only with "Optional Trigger Effects".

about #4

why is it any different if Great Shogun Shien is on the field? — This unsigned comment was made by 137.104.233.168 (talkcontribs) 20:57, 30 March 2009

KSS

Because Konami said so. — This unsigned comment was made by 24.83.210.135 (talkcontribs) 23:53, 30 March 2009

Not really. The Normal Summon/Set restriction is a game mechanic, and "Great Shogun Shien" has an effect. The two are not comparable.

Six Samurai

If my opponet uses lightning vortex when i have out my six samurai monsters do all of them get destroyed? — This unsigned comment was made by 71.104.165.24 (talkcontribs) 06:21, October 4, 2009

Yes, all of them get destroyed. See the Card Rulings for any of the Six Samurai cards.
A "Six Samurai" monster that is in the process of being destroyed cannot be destroyed to save another "Six Samurai" monster. For example, if you control "Yariza", "Nisashi", and "Irou" all in Attack Position, and your opponent activates "Mirror Force", you cannot destroy any of those 3 instead of another."
