Playing a Mirror Match against another Gladiator Beast Deck. I got my Laquari SS on my side of the field, giving it 2100 ATK. I then attack into a facedown Hoplomus. We both tag out and Special Summon Murmillos. Who gets the Effect?

- Turn player get the priority first. Then opponent's card effect activate, then you (turn player) get an optional effect activate. Last, your opponent's optional effect activate.
- Resolved backward.
- In other word -
- Both "Gladiator Beast Murmillo" tagged onto the field, and their effect activated in this order;
- Turn Player's Murmillo effect activated, target your opponent's Murmillo (if that's only monster your opponent controls), destroy it.
- Opponent's Murmillo effect activated (Since it don't have restrict requirement to be face-up on the field to resolved it), target your Mumillo (again, if only monster you controls), destroy it.
- Chain ended.
- Both "Gladiator Beast Murmillo" tagged onto the field, and their effect activated in this order;
- Hope this helps. --iFredCat 20:45, January 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Wrong, SEGOC does not apply to "During the ___ Phase,..." effects.
