Forum:Mist Valley Harpies - Any suggestions?

I'm building a new deck (again!) This time centred around the Harpies (with Mist Valley support), but I don't know where to start. I want to be able to use Harpies Pet Baby Dragon (due to his crazy number of effects) and the Harpy base cards (Harpie Lady 1, Harpy Queen, Harpie's Hunting Ground etc.), but I don't know what else to put in. I know it's a lot easier for you guys if I have a deck to show you, but I haven't got it right now.

Could anybody please help? --Tazer Silverscar (talkcontribs) 10:50, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

The Three Harpy Ladies that you should use are Cyber Harpie Lady. It's stronger than Harpie Lady 1 so I'd say that it's a safer bet. Three Harpie Queens are also be must. Harpies Baby Pet Dragon is too hard to use due to the limitations on title (You can only include three copies total of cards that count as another card while in your hand and deck). As such, I wouldn't suggest him.

Other useful support:

That should be a decent base to start with.BobaFett2 (talk)

Hmm... I agree with the Cybers and Harpie Queens, but I disagree with totally ditching the Baby Pet Dragon. Given the whole point of Harpies is swarming anyway, keeping the numbers up should not be a problem if the deck is built right.

Also, Shaman doesn't re-use ST cards, only monsters.

Nice suggestions. Tengu will be an arse to get though. --Tazer Silverscar (talkcontribs) 20:55, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

My bad on Shaman. Last I checked Tengu was about 8 dollars. Anyhow, Shaman can re-use Harpy Ladies with Hunting Ground. If you can get any Mist Valley Thunder Lords I'd suggest using them. Triple Hunting Grounds and double Divine Winds would also be great. Some Compulsory Evacuation Devices (re-use Harpies for Hunting Ground's effect as well as protect from an S/T) would work wonders.BobaFett2 (talk)
