Forum:My Exodia Deck

I'm designing an Exodia Deck [BIG shocker eh?] and I have what I think would accomplish the job, but I know there are probably many flaws in it. If someone could test [altough i hate asking things of people I don't know] it because I don't own all of these cards and I don't want to go buy them if they're not going to work. Also I'm open to any consructive criticism.

Monsters:24
5 Pieces of Exodia
3 Emissary of the Afterlife
3 Dark Mimic LV1
3 Dark Mimic LV3
3 Skelengel
2 Magician of Faith
2 Mask of Darkness
3 Destiny Hero - Defender

Magic:7
Level Limit - Area B
3 Upstart Goblin
Mystical Space Typhoon
Gold Sarcophagus
Allure of Darkness

Trap:9
3 Solemn Judgment
3 Jar of Greed

Tell me what you think.

You posted this deck in the wrong place, but don't worry about it. Even though the list is there, E-Mail the list to me and I will build it and try it out. After a couple of duels/matches with it, I'll tell you how it worked out and then you can try it. Haou 19:39, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Haou

A better Exodia deck

Build an Exodia deck containing 1 Heart of the Underdog, the pieces of Exodia, 1 Gold Sarcophagus and 33 Normal Monsters with high defense, like Renge, Gatekeeper of Dark World and Battle Footballer. If you draw [[Heart of the Underdog]] in your starting hand, (15% probability), it's an automatic 4 turn or less kill, depending on where Exodia the Forbidden One and Gold Sarcophagus are in relation to the other Exodia pieces.

  • OK, that may be a better Exodia deck but it is not the best I think the best is:
   * Foolish Burial
   * 1 Manticore of Darkness in your hand and 1 in your deck ,
   * Card of Safe Return

Use Foolish Burial to send the Manticore of Darkness from your deck to the graveyard. At the End Phase, send the on-field Manticore of Darkness to the graveyard to revive the other Manticore of Darkness. You get to draw 1 card due to Card of Safe Return's effect. Keep repeating until you draw all 5 cards of Exodia. You'd want a card to counter D.D. Crow, or it will remove Manticore of Darkness from play, ruining your loop. Prohibition and Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer can stop D.D. Crow in its tracks. See just fun three Foolish Burial, three Card of Safe Return, and two Manticore of Darkness, with other cards that allow you to draw like Destiny Hero - Disk Commander, with Limit Reverse, Angel Lift, and Monster Reborn, and maybe Cup of Ace and other sh*t like that, hope this helps :) -- Dragon of chaos 18:42, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
