Forum:Need help with Madolche

So with the new Madolche cards added to DN, I wanted to try my luck making a Madolche deck. Please tell me what I should change with the deck so I know how to improve it for later changes if I plan to keep the deck. Thanks ahead of time.

Sorry forgot to sign above. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 16:17, July 24, 2012 (UTC)

Is there anything I should change? I know that Madolche is a new archetype, but there has to be somebody who has tried them before. Sorry if I sound rude but I just want some type of help with this deck. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 02:26, July 29, 2012 (UTC)

You should run Guardian Eatos.Ja1lbreakr0cks (talkcontribs) 02:34, July 29, 2012 (UTC)

Personally I don't believe Eatos would really help with this deck. If it would be sent to the grave that would be it for Puddingcess's ATK boost which would really help when Chateau is on the field. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 02:47, July 29, 2012 (UTC)
Dont run Eatos. Madolche is better off without her. Remove 1 Puddingcess. You just need 1. Remove Chouxvalier then add 3 Criowansant. its very useful with Ticket. remove Mehple. Put some Butlerusk, its better than Terraforming and maybe a RotA for Messengelato. ----SharkTenjo 02:57, July 29, 2012 (UTC)
Would you recommend taking out both Terraforming? But I thought of Butlerusk and feared to put him in due to low ATK and if I didn't have another Madolche in hand with Offering to Xyz summon. I'll take your advice though, its very helpful. I'll test the changes later and post a revised decklist up when I get the chance. Thanks! Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 03:07, July 29, 2012 (UTC)

First things first, stop using Dueling Network. It's terribad. Use YGOPro instead.

Now then, about your deck. Mehple is useless. Marmamaid will be amazing...once we get any Normal Spells. Until then, all we have are Continuous/Field spells, which won't go to the Graveyard very often, and Traps, which are too slow with her. Until we get any Normal Spells (hopefully as TCG exclusives), she needs to be dropped. Puddingcess is amazing at 3, anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar; she can blow up a card with every battle, and Mew-feuille and Ticket and Happy Festa make her ridiculously easy to summon. Speaking of Mew-feuille, make him 3. With both Messengelato and Puddingcess (as well as Poop Dog), he has more than enough targets. Speaking of Poop Dog, where the hell are your Madolche Croiwanssants? You need 1-3 of him, the more the merrier. Aside from bouncing Chateau for a free 300 ATK boost (which makes him a 2300 beater off the bat with Chateau), he can bounce Majoleine to use her effect again, AND he combos with Ticket. Take out a Chouxvalier and a Messengelato; they're good, but you don't need that many of them. Take out the Terraformings, add a Butlerusk. He's recyclable, and is never a dead draw, unlike Terraforming if you already have the fields out. Use 3 Tiaramisus. There is no excuse. And take out Monster Reborn; if you need it, you're using the deck wrong. The Pope 15:43, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

Maybe he's using "Monster Reborn" with the opponent's Graveyard. --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 17:13, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

First off I have made changes to the deck, I'm still testing the deck and will update it later. Monster Reborn really helps with cards that have been detatched, and with the opponent's grave so there is a point to it. Also Messengelato is very helpful at 3. I'll post up the revisions as soon as I'm done testing. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 17:22, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

No point in reviving the opponent's monsters, and anything detached can be recycled with Tiaramisu or the Chateau. The Pope 18:05, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

I'm fully aware that the monsters would be recycled with Chateau and Tiaramisu, but there is a point in having Monster Reborn. Just because you wouldn't use it doesn't mean that your deck has to be the one that everyone has to use, thats why there are so many variations of many decks. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 18:23, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

Well, you did ask us for our advice. The Pope 18:55, August 1, 2012 (UTC)
True I did say that, but taking out Monster Reborn would be something that almost nobody would do. Its like saying that you should play a deck without using the key card. And I'm also not going to start an argument on here, so if you're going to add anything try to add some logic behind it, or atleast explain why I should do that. From what I've read...

Try Madolche Croiwanssant for Marmamaid
Substitute 2 x Forbidden Lance for Smashing Ground
Drop one Terraforming for Reinforcement of the Army

Updated Version

Does this decklist look any better? I still feel as if there is something missing that would help. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 17:17, August 5, 2012 (UTC)

Again, from what I've read: You don't want cards like torrential and Dark Hole in madolches because madolche won't bounce back unless your opponent destroys them and having monsters in your grave is gonna make life hard since you're running pudding.

Think about trading your Dark Hole for a Book of Moon maybe. Also, some decks run Bait Doll and/or Malefic Stardust Dragon. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 15:56, August 6, 2012 (UTC)
