Forum:New Player/Need Deck Ideas

Hey my name is Gabe, and I'm looking for some help on creating a deck that i'd like to purchase online. I had an idea for a chronomaly deck, but i'm not sure on how to make it competitive, and able to contend with higher tier decks such as; Dragon Rulers, Fire Fist, or FrogMonarch. I will be playing at my local comic book shops near my area i'd help if you knew the local deck types used which is unlikely. But if you live near the Sacramento area, and go to Metropolis Comix, or The Mage's Realm it would help. If you don't know the locals that is still fine. Try to use only cards from the TCG, becuause i've seen lots of posts on the forum using OCG cards for the decks, which i'm starting next month meaning I need cards that are released in the United States. Hmm...Chronomaly is great at churning out Rank 5 monsters, but I don't know if it will be able to go up against Ruler and Fist, it all just depends on what the banlist does to the top decks on September 1st. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:20, July 28, 2013 (UTC)

There is the OTK strategy that I have been trying to make a deck of. it is on the Chronoamly page but to put it simply it makes use of the lv 5 cards to summon number 33 than use Mini-Guts to drop a monster attack to zero and than use 33's effect and attack for game. the biggest problems I have run into (and I think this is with all chronoamly OTK or regular Chronamly players)is that I can make 33 but I have no tribute for mini-guts and I have had problems finding a draw engine. what I am currently using is Defense Draw but there must be something better than that. well good luck. --Venom assult trooper (talk • contribs) 14:28, July 28, 2013 (UTC)

If Mini-Guts fails you, make do with Darkworld Shackles. It may not do as much damage as the Mini-Guts combo, but it doesn't need you to Tribute and with the Equip you can inflict minor amounts of chip damage to bring the opponent's LP within range for you to kill in a single hit. What about adding Geartown to use for Chronomaly Tula Guardian and to destroy for a powerful Ancient Gear. Tula is a lv 5 to help with swarming so that should be helpful. Another possible field spell is Chronomaly City Babylon but you run out of monsters in the grave fast. --Venom assult trooper (talk • contribs) 12:42, July 29, 2013 (UTC)

I did not know that I have been playing on DN with all my test decks. so maybe replace them with Geartown and Dragon? or is there something better than that for chronomaly decks. --Venom assult trooper (talk • contribs) 13:41, July 29, 2013 (UTC)
