maybe its just me but i really think its about time thousand eyes restrict got off the ban list i mean at least at 1 because the meta has changed alot and i see this card leaving the field the next turn after i play it or sooner! like summon thousand eyes.. ok raigeki break or next turn lightning or a million and one other things u can do 2 get it off. not to mention that hes gonna be the only one of ur monsters attacking and if u took a set card with his effect then that wont be happening lol also all of the cards that put this card on the ban list are gone now. not only that but the extra deck is only 15 cards now and if i no the avg person with exceeds and synchros running around people might not even run to put it in the extra deck. and i dont see a point in use instint fusion -1 card from my hand pay a thousand just to get rid of something my opponent has... so at the end of your turn lets do the math you payed 1000 life points and of couse its one less card in ur hand to bring out a monster take ur opponents and it goes at the end so you used 2 cards and 1000 life point just to do that. t.e.r. was annoying when fissure was at 1 but in my mind hes not even close to as dangerous as he used to be. and now torrentail at 2 what more must i say. and one more thing.. it takes a ritual monster to do it s.m.h. and i dont really find the destroy by battle effect to be all that cool if all other monsters cant attack anyways. so people of yugioh what do you think.. overrated and needs to come off or should it rot there till yugioh falls off lol.

Very good effect + Lock. Was part of the Goat Control deck. Easily Fusion Summoned with Instant Fusion. Easily revived because of it's low ATK and low level (e.g. Graceful Revival and Limit Reverse). You can use Instant Fusion, use its effect, then Tribute it for a Monarch.

Personally, I think it could come back now. The main concern I can think of is it would make Monarch decks more powerful and that any deck could then splash Instant Fusion for basically one-for-one monster removal that is unaffected by things like Stardust Dragon. 75.58.122.97 (talk) 18:47, March 29, 2012 (UTC)

It can't boost them enough to be broken in this format, there are already 3 decks doing that job quite well.

I never said it wouldn't come back, IMO it's less broken than our very best friend Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, but I'm not sure if/when it will come back. In addition to making Instant Fusion essentially a splashable "Pay 1000 Life Points, send one monster your opponent controls to the Graveyard," it can be Tributed or used as Synchro Material before its destruction, and as mentioned above, it is really easy to revive with stuff like Limit Reverse and Graceful Revival, and maybe tributed or some-such again, so you can continuously lock your opponent and let yourself attack. 75.58.122.97 (talk) 21:14, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

I didn't think it'd be used in synchros, if it did come back it may be used in new plant builds (the few that're still around) to synch Naturia Cherries into Formula Synchron, not only can they +1 with cherries but they can +1 with this monster and +1 with Formula.
