If i summon Total Defense Shogun or Summoner Monk in attack position, it is changed to defense by it effect, then i can equip Prevention Star, so the second effect can resolve? can i still choose a monster of my opponent control? --PhoenixSoul 04:00, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Ah yes, another question, if the selected monster is destroyed. Then the equiped monster is destroyed and this card send to the graveyard, can i still remove from play the selected monster even if that was in the graveyard? --PhoenixSoul 05:58, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

1) It is possible to equip Prevention Star to Total Defense Shogun or Summoner Monk after they're switched to Defense mode. Prevention Star's effect will resolve then.
2) If "Prevention Star" and the monster it is equipped to are both destroyed at the same time, the effect of "Prevention Star" does not activate.

uh yeah i know,uhm...i mean...uhm, let me put it like this: I activated Prevention Star, then select my opponent's monster Stardust Dragon. After that, i made my opponent use his effect and he send it to the graveyard to negate one of his monsters for been destroyed. Then i enter to my battle phase and attack with my monster equiped with prevention star to a stronger monster, so i kill myself. Then my monster is destroyed, because it is destroyed...prevention star have no target and then is destroyed after my monster...so, can i remove from play Stardust Dragon? :D --PhoenixSoul 02:09, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately, that's not possible. If the selected monster (err, "Stardust Dragon" in this case) is removed from the field, then its connection to "Prevention Star" is lost, and the selected monster won't be removed from play. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 04:01, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
o well, someone have to add in the ruling section of Prevention Star "If the selected monster is send to the graveyard, Prevention Star will not remove that monster when it is destroyed." XD Thanks you guys. --PhoenixSoul 06:26, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
