1. Opponent has 2 face down magic/trap cards. I summon Prime Material Dragon. Opponent activates Bottomless Trap Hole. I have one card in my hand. I discard to negate it. Opponent activates a 2nd Bottomless Trap Hole. Can he do this? If so why and if not why not?
2. Can Light and Darkness Dragon negate the effect of a Grandmaster of The Six Samurai when he tries to special summon himself from the hand while another six samurai is on the field?
3. Can Light and Darkness Dragon negate continuous monster effects like Jinzo if Jinzo was already on the field before Prime Material Dragon was summoned? What about if Light and Darkness dragon was on the field and then I summoned Jinzo?
4. Can Light and Darkness Dragon negate Breaker's effect to remove a spell counter to destroy a magic/trap card?
5. Can Light and Darkness Dragon negate Blackwing card effects which Special Summon them from the hand when I control another Blackwing?

- 1) He can since the last thing that happened is still the summoning of a monster with over 1500 ATK.
- 2) No because it's an inherent special summon which means it does not start a chain.
- 3) Light and Darkness Dragon cannot negate effects that does not start chain (eg. continuous effects).
- 4) Yes since that effect starts a chain, as ignition.
- 5) No. The same reason with Grandmaster of The Six Samurai.

well about the breaker ? .....I was reading a different page with Defender the Magical Knight i believe and light and darkness dragon cannot negate his effect when he removes a spell counter...so how is breaker any different? Picasso 81189 21:40, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
If you look on Defender's card page his effect is listed as Continuous, I believe that's the reason. As stated above Light and Darkness Dragon's effect does not work on continuous effects. Projectkrigo 21:46, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- Breaker the Magical Warrior's last effect is an ignition effect which starts a chain. Defender, the Magical Knight's last effect is a continuous effect which does not start a chain, so it cannot be chained to. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 21:49, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
