i'm just wondering about flipped face-up if it is different from flip summon. for example, i flip summon snowman eater from face-down to face-up, will its effect activate? because i flipped it face-up so i think its effect will activate, or it needs to be forcefully flipped by attack or card effects like swords of revealing light. thanks for the info in advance. :) 203.87.201.134 (talk) 07:03, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
- Cards such as Des Lacooda only activate when they are Flip Summoned.
- FLIP effects activate when flipped face-up by a card effect (unless it's from something like Ceasefire), or when then are flipped face-up by a Flip-Summon or an attack.
- Pseudo-Flip Effects (such as Snowman Eater) activate when flipped face-up by a card effect (including Ceasefire), or when then are flipped face-up by a Flip-Summon or an attack.
