Forum:Question about "card(s)"

sorry for not remembering the card name for one, but it states that each time a "card" no (s) is sent out of play you gain 500 LP but is this supposed to mean card(s) or for each card sent to a certain place by a card effect? Freezydragon 02:28, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

wait let me clear it up

like for example if i had a light spiral on my side and i end my turn and i send cards from my deck to the grave yard due to the effect of a lightsworn monster does my opponent lose cards for each and every card sent to the graveyard or just for the like the 1 group of cards for example 1 group of cards sent to the graveyard from my deck by the effect of a lightsworn = 1 card removed from play from the top of my opponents deck or the other way if i send 3 cards from my deck to the graveyard by the effect of 1 lightsworn monster = 3 cards from the top of my opponents deck are removed from play? • "Light Spiral" works differently. Both say "card(s)", so both activate once every time one or more cards is RFPed/Graveyarded. However, "Soul Absorption" says "...for each card removed from play", so it counts the number of cards. "Light Spiral" just says "remove from play the top card of your opponent's Deck", so you only remove the top card (not the top three cards).
Of course, if you control two "Lightsworn" monsters, then there are two times when one or more cards is sent to the Graveyard, so "Light Spiral" would activate twice. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 05:54, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
