what does "rearrange" means, in cards like Wandering Mummy or Shifting Shadows, i dont get what does that mean, what i gotta do, why does it say rearrange the face-down cardsPorygon2z 23:37, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

  • you take the face-down cards and "shuffle" so neither players know what they are and place the back on the field. Dmaster (Contribs Count) 23:41, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Are you saying the controller can't look at them after he's done shuffling? Zeek Aran 04:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

the mummy thing says shuffle, and Shifting Shadows says rearrange. the difference is that when you shuffle your facedowns, you cant look at them before after your done, and when you rearrange them you can choose where they are gonna be. Mini neos 15:29, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Does it matter? Zeek Aran 21:02, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

  • I'm sure it's a rarely used phrase, typo or something because if you look at their rulings for Nightmare Wheel, you have to tell your opponent which is the monster, which means the controller knows only (unless of course they have Nightmare Wheel, etc.). Forget I said the "neither player"-thing, rearrange means to put them down "randomly" so usually you should not look at them. Dmaster (Contribs Count) 21:45, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Shuffle == Rearrange. They do the same thing. Also, after you shuffle/rearrange your cards, you can look at them since you control them. --Deus Ex Machina 01:32, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
