Red Dragon Archfiend's effect states: "...During your End Phase, destroy all other monsters you control that did not declare an attack this turn."

My question is:

Lets say I have Red Dragon Archfiend and Yubel - Terror Incarnate on the field, and i don't attack this turn, i can destroy Yubel - Terror Incarnate with Red Dragon Archfiend's effect and Yubel - Terror Incarnate's effect activates since it has been removed from the field and special summons Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare, will Red Dragon Archfiend's effect then be forced to activate again because there is a monster on the field that has not attacked or can Red Dragon Archfiend's effect only be applied once during the end phase?

  • The effect is applied only once. Red Dragon Archfiend activates his effect, destroying all other monsters that didn't declare an attack that turn. Monsters summoned after this effect resolves are unaffected. --Darth Covah 19:55, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

New Question

Jon0191 (talkcontribs) I have a friend which stated something and now I want to be completely sure of Red Dragon Archfiend's final effect which states "During your End Phase, destroy all other monsters you control that did not declare an attack this turn." What my friend stated during a duel was that only the monsters that were on the field during that battle phase are destroyed if they did not declare an attack that turn and that all other monsters brought out after that battle phase are unaffected. I on the other hand believe the final effect resolves no matter if the monsters were there or not before his end-phase, that they are still destroyed if they did not attack. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.

you are right. RDA will destroy every monster that didn't declare an attack, it doesn't matter when it is brought to the field. -dest- (talkcontribs) 11:02, December 6, 2010 (UTC)
