Forum:Red Eyes, Stardust dragon Deck

This is a deck I have created recently that is tournament ready ( I'm pretty sure) and I wish to get feed back and possibly any suggestions.

There are many deadly combos in this deck that can win a duel fairly quickly when executed properly.

I am a little new to these cards because I haven't played in over 3 years and I am now getting back in to yu-gi-oh.

The Purpose is to get Red Eyes B. Dragon on the field as much as possible to summon R.E.Darkness Dragon or in combo with the flamvell gaurds, which is easy to acquire with all the searchers I have, and syncro-summon a Stardust Dragon. Also I put in some other Beastly Dragons That can ruin someones day like White Night Dragon and White-Horned Dragon.

I have tested this Deck about 10 times and haven't lost with it yet but I yet to play a real challenging deck, tomorrow I should have played some more people who are also more difficult than my friend who used basic deck strategies like High attack/ Defense rush, with some effect cards hear and there.

.. oh, and I like to use this 28/22 format deck style. (28 monsters/8 above lvl 4)(22 magic and trap)

revision 2... check it out!!!

There are stronger dragon decks than this, plus...this deck is a bit slow for a OTK deck...and...in my opinion...you have to work on your deck again since you are returning to a yugioh that almost everyone is playing with a format that use a fast deck to kill in one turn. I can give you an idea: 3 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon + 2 Prime Material Dragon+ Future Fusion+Five-Headed Dragon = One Turn Kill. If you have a "Yugioh Virtual Duel" program, build your deck and lets duel, i challenge you :D --PhoenixSoul (talkcontribs) 03:45, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

You really should try and get it down to 40 cards btw :3, you can probbaly drop... Dragonic Guard,Spellbinding Circle,Magical Stone Excavation, Mountain(3), Axe of Despair, White-Horned Dragon(2)(maybe if you were running [[Trade-In]..)&Decoy Dragon(as no-one will ever attack it), though even then, it'll still be a bit top heavy...-213.123.215.233 (talk) 09:38, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

he/she is right, your deck is to slow, you need to reduce the size to 40 cards and use cards like Gold Sarcophagus or Foolish Burial to speed up, Future Fusion help too much here, because if you keep it in your format, you r gona lose. Less cards in your deck, higher your chances to draw the right card in the right moment :D --PhoenixSoul (talkcontribs) 00:31, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

alright.. I'll take out some cards and see what we got then. Thanks for the help so far guys, I need all I can get! and another thing is I want to have a deck that might be similar, but I don't want to take anyone else's Idea and own with it cuz then I don't really feel like I made the deck, but I will take suggestions of coarse xD, and I know I've seen a 5 headed dragon deck before...

Given that most decks have at least as many spells as traps, if not more, White Horned Dragon could be worth running. Thanks to the Darkness Metals, it makes for an easily summoned monster with up to 3700 ATK which, although likely to be removed/destroyed quickly, could be a sufficient distraction to protect the more important monsters. Vice Dragon and/or Strong Wind Dragon might also be worth running. Doomagent13 (talkcontribs)
