The YU-GI-OH world is slowing down. Many fast and powerful deck have been hit and in their wake, left a doorway for new and old decks alike to return to power. It is time to grasp the new world by the horns and show it who is boss. I give you a take on my newest tournament deck. I hope you all enjoy. It was tested against friends who already changed their format to the next list.

General idea

The basic idea of this deck is to disrupt the opponents control over the field using the two best monarchs we have. Triples of Caius and Raiza. By using the tactics of removal and spinning, you keep control over the field. The use of Soul Exchange is a must with any monarch build. Yes you lose the battlefor this round but the war is yours. By using your opponents monster as a tribute fodder and then getting the use of your monarchs ability makes up for the no attacking draw back. Now then, a monarch deck space is limited; best at 40 cards. So with this you will need to thin your deck very fast. Most use the combo of Mystic Tomato and Giant Rat, but with DD Warrior Lady at 3, why not use the ever powerful Shining Angle? This handy card helps set up the field to remove any obstruction. Combine that with Breaker, and you have full control over the duel. I find that two of each is enough in any deck. Morphing Jar is hear to help thin the deck a bit more and to mess up an opponents hand for a turn. Now DAD and Tragoedia are here for extra power just in case. Plaguespreader and Gale are my two favorite tuners and can be searched via Tomato. Mask of Darkness plays a very important role in this deck. With the reduction of Solemn and the return of Call of the Haunted, you will need to find a way to re-use them. Thus MOD is here. It can help you re-use these ever powerful cards and keep you in the fast lane to victory. The rest of the deck is basic and note, it was made rather quickly. Now while most think that a deck like this cant take on a deck like Lightsworn or Glads, i bed to differ. The side deck that this deck has can screw over both decks.
