Forum:SS vs Pollinosis?

Hey everyone I was playing on Byond's yugioh program (it is really awesome btw) but anyways I was playing it and my opponent was using a zombie based deck and had managed to get out Hollow Spirit and then I managed to kill it with my pumped up Gigaplant now the thing is, is that after I destroyed it, she SS Hollow Ghost which I then tried to use Pollinosis against by sacrificing my Seed of Flame. My opponent said 'no way' and that I could not negate the summoning of monsters that were special summoned by the effects of other monsters, is this true? I am just wondering if she tried to cheat or not, though I still won in the end *nuzzles her Tytannial, Princess of Camellias* I would still like to know, just in case I come against this again, if anyone could help me I would be most grateful! :D

• You can use Pollinosis to negate the Special Summon. Note: "Negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card, or the Normal or Special Summon of a monster, and destroy that card. Your opponent lied to you, and the only way for them to have prevented you from using Pollinosis is if they had a card in play that would negate Pollinosis or prevent you from activating it. Just like other any negating special summon cards like "Solemn Judgment", "Thunder King Rai-oh", and "Horn of Heaven". They can't negate the special summon of monster that's been special summoned by other effects like "Mystic Tomato", "Light and Darkness Dragon", "Marauding Captain", "Lonefire Blossom". They only negate inherent Special Summon effect that does not start a Chain, like "Cyber Dragon", "Dark Armed Dragon", "Judgment Dragon", "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus". So you can't activate Pollinosis on "Hollow Ghost" whose been special summoned by "Hollow Spirit".Kwackthere 07:35, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
