Does Samsara Kaiser Activate the effect of Spring of Rebirth when tributed and returned to the hand? HouseholdCatDeity 03:01, September 12, 2009 (UTC)
- No. "Samsara Kaiser" is first sent to the Graveyard/"Removed Zone", and then it is returned to your hand, so it is returned to your hand from the Graveyard. The effect of "Spring of Rebirth" only works when a monster is returned to your hand from the field. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 05:40, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

- That's the way it works! Samsara Kaiser's effect is triggered after it was used as a Tribute for a Tribute Summon, which means it is triggered when it is sent to the Graveyard (or in the Removed from Play Zone in the case of Macro Cosmos), so it's effect is activated in the Graveyard and returned to the Hand from the Graveyard! - The effect is a Trigger Effect. Thus, it has to activate and start a Chain Link, and then it returns itself to the Hand once the Chain Link resolves. The effect certainly can't activate and resolve on the field (since it has to be Tributed first), so it must activate after it is removed from the field.
