Forum:Semi Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon

I believe that with the release of Lightpulsar Dragon this card needs to finally be hit.

I mean, now it's not just a 2800 ATK monster that can be summoned just by removing one dragon on field, or being summoned from the graveyard easily via Red-Eyes Wyvern (which you can send 3 of alogs with 2 REDMD via future fusion) and having a good effect (1 free special summon per turn from hand or graveyard even if just for the dragon type seems pretty good).

Now it can combo with the card I mention in an almost endless way if the opponent just has cards that send to graveyard, so if you have REDMD you can special summon lighpulsar, and if lightpulsar is sent to graveyard you can special summon REDMD, if your opponent doesn't play quickly something that doesn't send to graveyard or makes lighpulsar lose the timing or destroys REDMD on its summon (destroying both not allowing any of them getting their effects is a bit difficult, so I'm not counting much on it) you can be stuck in this for a while.

I know people doesn't play just cards that send to graveyard but even with that I believe its quite a powerful combo, so this cars deserves to get semied.

I have a feeling after the release of the structure deck it is very possible for a semi, but at the same time it is very iffy. The fact that pulsar misses timing fairly easily (like that of peten the dark clown) I do not know if he is considered a hassle enough for darkness to take the hit. Perhaps, but I seriously doubt it. Even with Darkflare and Lightpulsar, they need a third card to truly break it. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 13:45, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
