Should cards change Erratas?
Do you thing cards should change Erratas again or stay the same errata? I think the errata should change once again because some people thought "Mystical Space Typhoon" negates other cards when a card is targeted and destroyed; it actually just destroys the target, not negate it.
Errata for Mystical Space Typhoon as of 2012: "Target 1 Spell/Trap on the field; destroy that target."
Errata for Mystical Space Typhoon I think will convince them: "Target 1 Spell/Trap on the field; destroy that target but do not negate the effects."
Do you think they should change Errata again and why? Also, don't criticize me for spelling.--Power32840 (talk • contribs) 19:47, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
- No, I think they should clarify the rules in rulebooks (given in stuff like Structure Decks, etc.) to say that unless the destroyed card is a Continuous Card or the destroying card has an effect that "negates" the effect of the other card, the effect will still resolve successfully. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 19:51, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
- Good point.--Power32840 (talk • contribs) 19:55, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
- I believe several new cards have the phrase "This card needs to remain on the field to activate and resolve this effect", which should also clear up the destroy != negate issues. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 09:55, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
