Forum:Six Sam Deck needs Updating

I've always been interested in The Six Samurai ever since they were revealed way back in STON and now with them getting support in STOR I've wanted to revive them to help them to compete with the current Meta.

My build is mostly control based, by preventing my opponent from using their Spells, Traps and, to an extent, Monsters. There is also a possibility for should I be unable to get a good enough field in order to gain control/field presence that the deck can just go into pure swarm and beatdown with Solidarity, Nisashi and Cunning etc.

The Monsters in the deck at the moment are mostly the original Six Samurai cards with the exception of True Six Samurai - Kizan who I added to the deck when it was first revealed. As I mentioned before the main purpose of the deck is control which can easily achieved by combing the effects of Irou, Zanji and Yaichi. The rest of the Monsters outside of the Extra Deck are mostly focusing on the swarm aspect of the deck or to help draw cards. The cards in the Extra Deck are mostly just staples which I could use should I choose to use Monster Reborn on one of my opponent's Tuners that's in their Graveyard.

The Spells in the are pretty much just either staples for the deck or help with increasing ATK so there isn't much else I can say about them. The Traps are also mostly staples with the exception of Double-Edged Sword Technique which has the main use of giving a last quick stab of damage should I have to inflict anymore damage for game. For the most part I'm happy with the Spell and Trap lineup however, with all the new True Six Samurai that have been revealed I'm not sure which of the older Six Samurais I should either get rid of or move to the Side Deck. So I hope you can help with this little problem. --Trivi-AM (talk) 13:09, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Hmmmmm

I think the best way to make Six Sam is to spam them and also control the field. One of the ways I spam the field is Inferno Reckless Summon into a Six Sam then Double Summon for some more Sam then boom, there's 5 Sam on the field in one turn. The for good measure buff them up with Mage Power or United We Stand. It makes a very effective deck.
