Forum:Spell Counter/Beatdown deck?

I've been using this deck for about...2 or 3 weeks now, and it's working decently, at best. But I'm hoping I can get some feedback on how I can improve it.

I got an Arcanite Magician last night, so I want to modify the deck to include odd-numbered monsters so that I may get it out instead of relying on Brain Control. I also want to focus a bit more on Spell Counters and Special Summoning. I also want to thin my deck a bit, as I KNOW that I have too many cards.

Before anyone asks, the two Gather Your Mind cards are in there because I don't quite have three Spell Power Grasps just yet. I only have one of those.

Ah, yes. There's a few cards I want to work into this deck, but I've no idea if they would work. These cards are Level Eater, Sunny Pixie, Recycle, and both Silent Magicians.

The cards that I know I want to keep in the deck are the Dark Magician Girls, Dark Paladin and its requirements (this may change if Silent Magician Lv8 is worked into the deck), and Magician's Valkyria and Miracle Flipper for a lock.

So, yeah, any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If I wasn't clear on something, just let me know, and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

I used to have a pretty simple Dark Magician deck that was really fast and effective. See if you like it:

Update - Just got an Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode.

I don't recommend using Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode. Arcanite Magician is better because you can remove spell counters from other cards such as Pitch-Black Power Stone and Magical Citadel of Endymion, not just itself.--Skiesthelimit 20:24, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
