Forum:Synchros/XYZs that are negated, banished, can they be brought back?

So let's say you summon a Syncrho or XYZ monster, its summon is negated, so it goes to the graveyard. I know you cannot use Monster Reborn or the like to bring them back, since they never existed. However, what is they are removed from play after they are in the graveyard? Can a card like Leviair bring them back to the field through its effect, or are they still gone?

It's Xyz Monster, not XYZ Monster, ok? If their summon is negated and banished, the ruling still approved the same as if they were negated and send to the Graveyard - it's general ruling for Special Summon-only Monsters. "Leviair the Sea Dragon" can only bring back Level 4 or lower Monster, not Level 5 or higher and other Xyz Monsters. --FredCat 01:21, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

In order to revive those monsters, they must be be properly Synchro/Xyz Summoned.
Did you think removing monsters from play is a way to properly Synchro/Xyz Summons the monsters? (wrong)

I believe Kain is asking what would happen to properly summoned monsters that are banished after being sent to grave--絶望 (talkcontribs) 02:42, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

I believed that he's saying if Xyz/Synchro Monster was summoning, then it got negated then BANISHED from the game, like "Macro Cosmos" and the likely. --FredCat 02:52, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

Fredcat is correct in what I was asking.

No need to be rude about though. I just wanted to double check. And does it really matter if it is Xyz or XYZ? It is the same damn thing.

Dr Kain (talkcontribs) 06:28, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

Xyz monsters and XYZ monsters are different.

Like Falzar said, XYZ was taken by those machine back in DM, when Seto first played them. --FredCat 11:11, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

Its still the same thing. They are still going to be pronounced as X Y Z, so it really doesn't matter.

Dr Kain (talkcontribs) 16:10, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

Capital difference - XYZ taken all letter being capital, while Xyz only took X in the knee. Now get used to it, bud. --FredCat 16:39, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

Xyz are pronounced (ik-seez), while VWXYZ monsters are pronounced by the respective letters. While I write XYZ for Xyz when Im in a rush that is no reason to be rude

Shinkirou 15:34, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Still, they are complete different because of XYZ existence and Xyz existence - if you don't like that, go and revolution against Konami for stupid create that words; I pretty much prefer "Exceed" over "Xyz". --FredCat 16:06, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah I know I call them Ik-sees monsters but it is an exceed summon in my opinion.

Shinkirou 17:04, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Then, from this point on, let's call them Exceed if that help you feel better. Call them Xyz is just foolish move Konami had done. --FredCat 17:07, March 23, 2012 (UTC)
