Forum:Toon deck, some help please

So basically, the thought with this deck is to utilize the toons summoning speed to xyz summon a.s.a.p. I figured, if my toons stay on the field I can attack directly, and if I xyz summon, almost all of the toons are four stars, so not only can I xyz summon easily, but they would be safe from the destruction of toon world if used for a xyz summon. The thing with so far, is that it feels like a waste to normal tribute summon ANY of the other toons and I know I could use more of certain xyz monsters, but I'm not quite for sure what to add (or subtract). Any help with what I am trying to do and any advice would be very helpful.

Toons are Special Summons and you'll want to adjust for the current Banned List if you plan to use this deck as Card Destruction and Number 16: Shock Master are banned and Bottomless Trap Hole is at 1. Double Summmon is therefore useless in this deck. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 11:51, August 30, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks MasterMarik. In the defense of double summon: Out of the 9 toon monsters available, I only use 8, and out of those, only 5 are actually special summon, that is one of the reasons I use double summon. The second is to have the material for the xyz monsters. I just fixed the deck up by taking into account the upcoming ban list, so thanks for the heads up. Half the monsters in your deck are high-level monsters. Means you'll have 50% chance of drawing one of them when you need a lower level. I'd lower the high-level Toon monster count to about 3 or 4. You could use Mystic Tomato to defend your Life Points and bring out either Toon Masked Sorcerer or Toon Cannon Soldier. Two would probably suffice there and you may want some stall cards like Swords of Revealing Light and Scapegoat, especially since the high-level Toons are Special Summons, meaning you can use them for their Special Summon.--MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 17:16, August 30, 2013 (UTC)

Lets see. I'll first look at the extra deck. Get rid of Emeral, it is useless in toon decks. Somewhat the same with Gagagigo. You should have 2 beetles and a number wall for an unstoppable lock-down that prevents the destruction of the three, the only bad thing is if the effects are negated or one of your numbers are destroyed by battle. what is with the inzektor? Your better off using blue-eyes toon dragon. Replace giant hand for Number 50: Black Corn. to deffend your toons you might want to add Number 39: Utopia. Personally, I would not recommend an extra deck at all. Now for the monsters. You have WAY too many toons in your deck. That, and you only need 20 monsters. I would recommend getting rid of these: ALL of the toon cannon soldiers, one toon dark magician girl, one or two toon goblin attack forces, and one toon gemini elf. to replace them, use one or two Marshmallon to replace the goblins, and some cards that give you life points to meet the requierment to attack with some of the toons. And onto the spells. You have a fair amount of spells, but you don't really need the extra two. forget the double summon as most toons can special summon themselves. get rid of a toon table of contents and a mystical space typhoon. Instead, add in an Inferno Reckless Summon, a Marshmallon Glasses, and a Vengeful Bog Spirit. I.R.S. is for when you want to, for example, special summon toon mermaid. as you s.s. toon mermaid, activate I.R.S. to s.s. the other two. M.G. and Marshmallon is a good combo to defend your toon monsters as your opponent would only be able to attack it. Finally, V.B.S. also gives you more time to use the effects of your toons so you can atk directly sooner. And lastly, the traps. You have a good start, but not good enough. get rid one or two call of the haunted, possibly bottomless trap hole (your choice), both mirror force. Then you should add cards that defend T.W., like The Huge Revolution is Over, Dark Bribe, Starlight Road (if you want to add a stardust dragon into your extra deck), and other cards like that. Also remember that 2 beetles and a Number Wall will help create an almost unbeatable combo. I hope I was of any help. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. Thanks you two. I can see what you mean here. I think if I will use starlight road, I'll add stardust as well. Once I edit the deck on here, I will post what I think about the additions/subtractions and go from there. Cycloneis (talkcontribs) 06:14, August 31, 2013 (UTC)Cycloneis

About the Number 66: Master Key Beetle combo, you can switch Number Wall with Safe Zone. You can use it to remove your opponent's Attack Position monsters by targeting their monster after Safe Zone becomes a target of S/T removal. Of course, this also results in Key Beetle being unable to attack directly, but it will be able to protect your Toon World nearly indefinitely if needs be. By that point the Marshmallon + Marshmallon Glasses becomes optional, but retain some LV4 DARK monsters if you actually want to use Master Key Beetle. This would be where Toon Cannon Soldier or Toon Masked Sorcerer would work, but Kagetokage also sharply eases its Summoning while also providing easy Tribute fodder for your high-Level Toons. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 08:50, August 31, 2013 (UTC)
