I was wondering if my opponent can activate Magic Cylinder when my Synchro monster with Torapart's effect attacks i dont know because cylinders says negate the attack but idk if torapart effect would still work

This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a Warrior-Type Synchro Monster. If the Synchro Monster that used this card as a Synchro Material Monster attacks, your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step

as long as that monster is a warrior type (printed) monster and that monster was not special summoned after being synchro summoned i.e. call of the haunted etc. thatn no, your opponent cannot activate any trap cards (including magic cylinder) to the monster's attack; however, your monster is not, by any means invulnerable to traps, if another one of your monsters declares an attack your opponent can use a card such as mirror force or widespread ruin (assuming your synchro monster has the highest attack) and it will be destroyed. Magic Cylinder can only be activated when an attack is declared. If a Warrior-type Synchro Monster that was Synchro Summoned with Torapart declares an attack, your opponent cannot activate Magic Cylinder. DemonGodAsura 21:22, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
