Forum:Tournament Worthy?

I have been working on this deck for a while, and so far I have gotten many compliments on how good it is, but I still feel as though something is.....lacking. The main purpose of this deck is to control the opponent's hand by returning cards to the top of the opponent's deck to create a Semi-Jackal Lockdown. At one point I focused on the Jackal Lockdown, but then I started to realize that Mystical Knight of Jackal is too easy to remove from the field (almost always by Caius, btw) and the lockdown is not very effective b/c of most top-tier decks' swarming abilities. So instead I simply focus on a traditional bounce-back-to-hand deck by removing cards from the field to allow for attacks by my Green Baboon or Raiza.

I love this deck, and it is good, but as I mentioned before, something seems to be missing. Any tips on how I could make this deck top-tier tournament worthy, and if it is, how I can better use it against my opponents?

Thank you all, and a special thanks to those who helped me build this deck in the first place. SimplyG (talkcontribs) 12:55, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Well , your deck seems good as u say and u must be used to play with it , as it seems.Tried to add other lv 3 beast like Sea Koala wich is used in ur deck at full potential , or maybe Tree Otter . But the thing this deck is missing is Synchro. Maybe u dont like them but well they are what u need . So just add X-Saber Airbellum and its fixed.Ddeevviiss (talkcontribs) 14:35, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Going with what Ddeevviiss said above, it wouldn't be very hard to take out 3 Bubonic Vermin and to add 1 Rescue Cat and 2 X-Saber Airbellum, if this is what the deck needs. Then I could focus on synchros such as Naturia Balkion and Naturia Beast and, of course staples such as Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Goyo Guardian and Ally of Justice Catastor.

Also, I still want to keep with the Bounce-Back-to-hand strategy, my hope is adding synchros wouldn't change that. That is also why I'm hesitant to take away my Hane-Hanes for Sea Koalas, even though they are good... What does anyone else think? SimplyG (talkcontribs) 18:30, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Degenerate Circuit could possibly help you... When a card would be returned to its owners hand, it is instead removed from play. The cost is 500 LP each of your turns, though. However your opponent would lose the cards~ --Recuk, Slaughterer Of Stupid People (talkcontribs) 04:44, August 5, 2010 (UTC)Recuk
