Forum:Tyrant's temper vs metal reflect slime

Hello I've got a question for what would happen in a few particular situations.

So I've got tyrant's temper face up on the field and I then activate metal reflect slime. What would happen to the newly summoned metal reflect slime?
Would it still be summoned successfully and stay out as a monster?

and

Would it be able to attack, assuming I switched its attack and defense using something like Shield and Sword while Tyrant's Temper is out?

P.S. I read an article that said when a 0 atk point monster battles another 0 atk point monster in atk mode neither monster is destroyed is this true?

P.P.S. If you atk directly successfully with a 0 atk point monster while you have a card like Robbin' Goblin out does it activate? --68.80.142.179 (talk) 02:10, July 2, 2012 (UTC)

But a face-up Continuous Trap Card that was activated before "Tyrant's Temper"'s activation will not apply its effects. ~Rulings
So I don't know if I can answer with the second question.
Yes, it's true - Zero does nothing.
If first P.S. is true, then this P.P.S. is fake - If monster is not destroyed when attacked on Zero-ATK with it ATK being also Zero, then Robbin' Goblin won't triggering: It required "Damage" to be inflict and your monster has 0 ATK, which no damage onto them. --iFredCat 02:28, July 2, 2012 (UTC)

User FredCat: he said that he activated "metal reflect slime" When "tyrant temper" was already face-up on the field.96.44.92.186 (talk) 03:09, July 2, 2012 (UTC)

I am aware of that - that's why I went with the ruling first: I am sure Metal Reflect Slime will just sit in S/T and not turn into a monster. But unless other Judge prove it, I can't answer his second question. --iFredCat 04:09, July 2, 2012 (UTC)

1. "Tyrant's Temper vs Trap Monsters"

The Trap Monsters are not affected by a Trap Card, there are the Trap Cards themselves. Thus, if Tyrant's Temper is face-up, the Trap Monsters are still face-up in the Monster Card Zone.

They will still have their effects since those are Effect Monster's effects. Metal Reflect Slime would still not be able to attack.

2. 0 ATK vs 0 ATK

In the past, it is different in both _CGs. Now, when both monsters with 0 ATK battle, both monsters are not destroyed. This is true in the OCG and TCG.

3. When a card or effect's activation requirement is to "inflict Battle Damage", you must inflict Battle Damage. 0 is not Battle Damage. This also goes for Spirit Reaper attacking directly with 0 ATK.  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 05:20, July 2, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, thank you, Turtle... for proving my first answer wrong but proving my later answers correct. At least I waited before go ahead and answer the number 2 (Question that switch ATK/DEF on "Metal Reflect Slime" by using "Shield and Sword" with "Tyrant's Temper" face-up) --iFredCat 11:50, July 2, 2012 (UTC)
