Question: My opponent summons NoC39 Utopia Ray Victory and chooses to attack my Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon. Utopia Ray Victory has an Effect that negate the effect of the monster he is battling, but Blue-Eyes Shining has a quick effect that negates the effect of a monster/spell/trap that targets it. How does this resolve?Stormrider21 (talk • contribs) 03:07, September 10, 2013 (UTC)
Tell the other guy that Victory doesn't target. Does it say "select" or "target" anywhere? I don't think so, therefore it doesn't target. Blue-Eyes Shining only stops targetting effects. Case closed. Aeron Solo wuz here (If you wanna talk) 03:10, September 10, 2013 (UTC)
- This is true, especially because "Victory" was printed with PSCT, which means that it would have said "target" if the effect really "targeted." --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 04:04, September 10, 2013 (UTC)
