Trying to make a Vanilla Swarm Deck...

First of all I have a few reasons for wanting to try to make such a deck.
1) They have lots of support cards!
2) Skill Drain !!
3) Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a classic...
4) and I have had this: Burst Stream of Destruction for ages now!

But, every time I try another version of this deck idea it has reliability issues.
I can surpress monster effects, I can swarm to a degree, I can draw.
However, I can't seem to do it all and make the deck consistent.

Here is the current attempt:

Deck

Monster Cards Normal Monsters 3x Blue-Eyes White Dragon 2x Summoned Skull 3x Gemini Elf 3x Vorse Raider 2x Gene-Warped Warwolf 3x Rose, Warrior of Revenge 4x Various level 4, 1900 atk monsters (wish I had more 2k attackers!) Spell Cards 3x Heart of the Underdog 2x Dark World Grimoire 1x Lightning Vortex 2x Swing of Memories 1x Monster Reborn Trap Cards 3x Skill Drain 2x Black Horn of Heaven 2x Compulsory Evacuation Device 3x Dark Bribe 1x Solemn Judgment

So, that is the deck. The deck also tries to summon: Stardust Dragon
He is for anti-destruction purposes and he works under Skill Drain !
The main strategy is: load up my hand and "abuse" Dark World Grimoire.
I open to all suggestions. Thanks gang.

suggestions for fast blue eyes dragons an super drawing

try adding some The White Stone of Legend to use for ligthening vortex in that way you don lose hand advantage and can use your dark grimore quickly also they are not affected by skill drain..you can also add aproppiate, it work really good with dark bribe..

I got the Stones. :)
Willing to try that...
was thinking maybe I could shift the focus or engine of my deck a bit.

you want tuners? remove rose warrior of revenge and add something like Tune Warrior or Genex Controller.Add alexandrite dragon and summoner's art.want an instant summoned skull or Blue eyes white dragon? go for Ancient Rulesalso if your deck is able to summon multiple blue eyes go for Thunder End Dragon--LG (talk • contribs) 10:19, February 2, 2012 (UTC)

Consider these 3 cards also: Faustian Bargain, Justi-Break, and Dark Factory of Mass Production. I think you could lose a Dark Bribe and/ or a Compulsory Evacuation Device, and/or Black Horn of Heaven. --Kungfu-mama (talk • contribs) 18:11, February 3, 2012 (UTC)

Rescue Rabbit can work early on in the game if you decide to run alexandrites. Then you can summon an xyz like Pearl, since effects will be useless due to Skill Drain, or even run some effect ones before using Skill Drain. Adamtheamazing64 (talk • contribs) 04:04, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

There are no normal level 4 tuners. However, you can solve that problem by adding Natural Tune to your line up. It works well with Swing of Memories.

If you are really thinking about changing up your engine, there's a couple of ways to go. The site has a pretty decent write-up about Malefic decks that might prove helpful. Here's the link- Malefic

If you don't mind incorporating level 3 and lower monsters into your deck, you could always go the Vanilla Synchro Swarm route. Here's a link to the write-up on that: Vanilla Synchro Swarm

Finally, here's a link to the Vanilla Beatdown deck in the wiki. It should give you more ideas to tinker with: Normal Monster Beatdown deck. BTW, you may have to scroll up or down to find the exact article I'm trying to direct you to.
