hi ppl, i bring u THESE questions

1) (im pretty sure it cant even activate but i need some1 else to say it) i have LaDD on field, as well as a vanity fiend. LaDD attacks a face down dandy. DANDEE cant even activate right? you cant activate a card effect that cant resolve properly. agressive idiotic moron says that as it is mandatory he must activate, ergo activating LaDD.

2) i have LaDD and vanity fiend on field. if LaDD'd get destroyed, would i destroy my field? i dont think so, for the same reason up, i cant activate an effect that wont resolve properly, and, as VF is on the field when LaDD gets destroyed, both effect would take place. im not sure on this 1, so i need confirmation.

3) i have a LaDD, he has a formula, he activates formula, LaDD negates? also asked as Does formulas second effect start a chain? also asked as Is formula's second effect continous?

4) i have vanity fiend on my field. shien kills it, substep 4 can i activate tragoedia?

5) opression and formula, OPP kills formula or the synch?

6) LaDD my field, 800/400, joined by a T. Frog, opponent controls a Herald of Perfection, lets say i summon caius, targeting HoP, chain link one would be caius, the question is, can he respond with HoP? cause LaDD must activate always a a link 2, but i wouldnt be giving my opponent a chance to respond. im completely uncertain about this, so if any1 does know, plz let me know.

thanxs in advance Yes, im Pato (talkcontribs) 18:46, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Dandylion can't activate so LaDD doesn't have to negate it. LaDD would destroy your field since you select, destroy your field, then Special Summon. LaDD does negate Formula's first effect but it's second effect can only be negated by cards like Skill Drain. Not sure about number 4. Royal Oppression can destroy whichever one you want depending on when you activate it. I think you mean LaDD has 400 defense (pretty much no other possible value). As such, LaDD can't negate anything anymore so herald destroys and negates Caius.BobaFett2 (talk)

3.) Per testing on Wc11 both of Formula Synchron's effects start a chain, and can be negated by Light and Darkness Dragon. Midmorning (talkcontribs) 22:15, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

1) Dandy might have a mandatory trigger, but even those don't activate if they can't (special summon in this case). So, no activation and no reason for LaDD to negate.
2) Even if he is unable to summon, LaDD destroys all cards. And since vanity left the field by the time he is trying to special summon he will special summon.
3) There wouldn't be a reason to test it, just read the effect types on the cards page... its trigger and quick, so everything starts a chain and everything negateable by LaDD.
4) I think I'll test this when I get to my WC11 again (on sunday) but I'm quite sure you can't summon Tragoedia. The continous effect should still be in place at that time.
5) Oppression kills formula when you want to synchro with formulas effect. Synchro in the opponents turn is a quick effect and so is the effect to be negated.
6) Caius is chain link 1, then ... well, you could take one of the "previous official rulings" here. According to this the turn players LaDD activates directly in chain (even if he can't lower its stats anymore), without the chance for Herald to react. So Herald can not harm caius, the best he could do is negating and destroying LaDD and so destroying the whole field bevore being removed by caius.

Huh. I didn't know that LaDD activated even after having his stats lowered to the minimum. Cool.BobaFett2 (talk)

Ok, thanxs, good to be back asking questions. smart questions, not like my locals where ppl think One for One activates fabled monsters. anyway thxs. Yes, im Pato (talkcontribs) 00:15, May 22, 2011 (UTC)
